A whole vest cannot be removed from your body, if it has, your whole chest cavity has been blown open and most of your vital organs are gone and you're about to die. Not much morphine or a tourniquet can do at that point.
Who said the vest was on your body at that point? Do you have any knowledge of the physics of an explosive blast? Shrapnel? Your medical pouch can easily be removed from your vest without touching anything else on the vest.
This means that you have no medical equipment. You're going to die.

You've completely dodged what I've just said. Is your argument that flawed that you have to dodge things to make your (incorrect) point?
3:38 PM - Gunny: he thinks you can live when your whole chest cavity is blown open and most of your organs are destroyed
3:38 PM - Gunny: and that some morphine or a tourniquet will fix it
3:39 PM - Gunny: yeah he knows his shit
You've completely dodged what I've just said. I stand correct.
To, be honest i think i agree with Taggart. I don`t think he ment that the whole vest is blown up, but that it takes so much damage that you can`t wear it anymore. BTW I would rather wear ACu while im dying than BDU
and no gunny, I would not wear DCUs, I would wear ACUs in UCP or Multicam.
because i actually care what the army thinks
how do ur guts spill out if theyre gone?
Even if you did have a spare medical kit that will not save you when your guts are spilling out of you and your organs are destroyed. I stand correct.
You're still dodging what I've said.
I've noted that your medical equipment has been removed, not that your chest has been removed. Please try and come up with some more bullshit based on this.
Gunny, the point is ACUs are better than BDUs, and we're MADE to better than BDUs.
3:42 PM - Gunny: you just want to be on the side of the gold member, guy with 8k posts, so special. alright
3:42 PM - greyman - aah guhn: No I don't

shit posting of this magnitude should be in the GMF
yea indeed, lets just wait for...... Rossmum to arrive here? I don`t know.
Taggart you are talking about an IED scenario wear your medical pouch is removed. Most of your other pouches would be destroyed as well. I'd carry a spare pouch in the large cargo pockets on the side of my BDU pants. You got some sharpnel in your side, I'd get my LBV off, rip off my BDU shirt, which is easier to rip than the thick ACU cut uniform and use the morphine and bandages from my spare medial kit. My BDU saved my life because I was able to rip it off instead of fiddling with the buttons on the shirt. Now, if your whole chest cavity got blown out and your vest was destroyed in the front and you have all your organs spilling out of you, there isn't anything you can really do to save yourself. So I'm the idiot for wanting to wear the DCU, where I can rip it off my body to save myself from a shrapnel wound on my side. So I have a better chance of saving myself from a shrapnel wound AND I have good camouflage than can hide me better than UCP, which blends in with mountains. Now, if I were in the mountains and multicam wasn't avalible, I'd wear UCP.

My ACUs are thinner than my BDUs.
My ACUs are thinner than my BDUs.
There are different materials used for BDU's. I'd have the thinner ones. My father wore the thick woodland BDU's when he was a DI at PI.
but thats not the point, stop making your own questions and answer his first
