By the way, we still do use webbing for some things (really low-key peacekeeping stuff where they don't want people to get the wrong vibes mostly). They aren't used much outside the range, but they do get used sometimes.
As for the bullshit argument of the hour, I'd try clear it with my chain before bringing an older uniform in a different pattern, but you bet your life I'd do my best to persuade them. If they say no they say no, just rub the thing through the dirt until it's not grey anymore and throw some scrim on the helmet cover and hope for the best. I'm not in that position though because DPCU fuckin' owns :smug:

My question for taggart, is what would you do if the medic was in your humvee and his ass got blown up and your chest is blown open. What are you gonna do then? You will go into shock and die. If your medic did survive and started to help you, they wouldn't be able to get you into a field hospital in time before you go into shock and end up dying. You will have a better chance of attempting to live than you would with an ACU cut uniform. As I said, bdus come in different thicknesses.

I praised the Marines in their amphibous operations, and how the army would NOT be capable of bring an amphibous operation to the extent of the Marine Corps. The Marines kick ass period, I believe the Marines would be more capable of taking the fight to the enemy rather the army. The Army's motto is "This We'll Defend" Keyword: DEFEND. The Marines are good at taking something and then the army holds it. I am in the young Marines and I earned the rank of GySgt through it. I never said I was a Marine. I said I was born wanting to be a Marine.
