It looks like there's little to no detail to actually apply to the model. I think you'd be better off remaking the normal map yourself, if not with someone else's assistance.

why isnt anyone ever using the actual specular maps from the guns instead of using a flat white specular which looks REALLY bad ingame?
I'm gonna set the BF3 SWEPs aside for now, since I want to improve Tlsaudrl2548's BF3 Russian Ground Forces models. What I'm gonna do: - Fix some bugs and glitches ( Recon's left eyelid flexes moving with the eyeposing, feet going a bit into the world geometry as a playermodel ) - Give them better phy models. Limbs clipping eachother is not good for posing or as a playermodel - Make more skin-families for more camo variation. I want to use the actually BF3 camos, including the SPECACT camo (Anyone care to help make them?) . - More faceposing (Anyone care to help me with this too? I'll gladly appreciate it) - Unified viewmodel hands. I'll use the RGF Arms I showed earlier in this thread. - Compress texture files. I'll compress the textures via RLE compression so that the models can load faster, yet still have the same quality before compression. Regardless, all of your models look waaay darker, even in-game then they should be.
