Sounds promising ! Would you mind sharing a link ? I found a few vehicle models also on TF3DM (most are done by YsUP, cheers for him by the way), the textures are not as amazing as luxox's ones but they are still good.
Anyone managed to rip the jaws/teeth of the soldiers ?
By the way I have rigged luxox's russian support with Blender, tell me if you want me to share it, I'll also be rigging the other ones as well I think

I would appreciate some more .rip files if anyone got some to work with (vehicles) The skidloader would be fun imo, I can't rip myself from MP, PB always kicks me out (same when not using the ripper, so...) But send me rip files and I'll see what I can do. (I would really like to have the BTR-90, Mi-28 Havoc and either the Panzir trailer or US counterpart, just rip them, that's all... Someone D:)

And I guess it'd be awesome if someone could create more realistic textures. Now I'm out.
I didn't manage to rip the BF4 models, but I did however manage to extract all sounds with proper naming. That means we've got a list of weapons, vehicles, Voice Overs and pretty much every sound ever. I also managed to extract all information connected to BF4, so it's just a matter of time before I find something interesting. I am looking into hex-editing away the color-grading just to see how it looks. The hex-values are somewhat corrupted, or I'm just reading it wrong... I'm looking into it.
Also working on extracting textures and mesh if I can.
I've seen Steinman's BF3, and although they're good, they need some work:

Looks like it's up to me to give it better textures, more material coordinates, and editing the aftermath models to the default ones....

i have rigged almost all of the US Team, Im working on the Engineer (I Did it days ago, came to say it, but somone stole my account somehow....)
So we have like 2-4 people who have worked on US team already. But no release yet? Why won't you guys work in joints? It could save a lot time.

Great Idea, thanks. But who will work in the BF3 US Team? I know I will, since I have the Recon as my work in progress, since it still needs the little details like eyeposing and faceposing

I've done dirtbike rig, RUS support and assault rigs as well, all done with Blender (no eyeposing nor faceposing though), just tell me if you want me to share it (and if you've done US team with Blender I would be glad to borrow those). Here's a short sequence i'm working on just for fun (the scene and objects around the model are horrible since I'll probably render it on greenscreen for some friend of mine editing videos)

lol, im about to release the Engineer (The Support/ others are messing up for me) but i got the engineer, but hes arms might seem to long......

Nah, i use the editable poly thingy and move his arms up more, make it much easier to rig, but for some reason, his arms are all longer (I Think) uploading after i do somthing with COD4.

US MP Engineer's upper body. So I was working on textures, new skeleton and etc for a long time. Now I decided to start rigging models onto my new BF3 Skeleton. Also I won't do US MP Recon because CSLeader working on him.

We need a roster or something that tells who's working on what. As it is, people are doing the same things as other people and they don't even know it sometimes.

Would be nice to have it as .obj or .fbx or even .3ds so it can be opened with something else than 3DS Max... screw Autodesk they're just puss**es.

Thanks a lot ! Maybe you can export as fbx ? I used FBX files for motion captures with the Kinect so they should include the skeleton ; by the way, you guys are rigging for Garry's mod is that right ? Is there a particular skeleton to use for the model to be usable in-game (i'm not familiar with Gmod), because if not I have fully rigged russian support and assault (bones : toe, feet, shin, thigh, hip, lower spine, middle spine, chest, clavicles, arms, forearms, neck, head, hands and fingers) I can try to export as .fbx

NO particular skeleton to get it working in game, but if you are rigging something from scratch, it's often good practice to use the valve biped for humans. In part because it makes stuff like like setting up physics a lot easier and makes it simpler for SFM folks as well.
So, since no one has put up a roster yet for the BF3 Americanos, I'll put one up....

Currently, i've just finished Recon, working on support, might finish that medic soon! And im thinking about Remaking the whole Engineer guy, so he wont have the long arms.
