can someone do me a favor? Anyone knows these greenish containers with radar on top? One of the first 2 M-Coms on Kharg is in something like that, as example. I believe it can also be seen at certain points in the campaign. Can somebody rip that for me? I can't get BF3 to start anymore.
Tom, there is a new way to do it. Using Frankelstner python script for extracting the files, and then use Hex2Obj from shakotay for getting the models in .obj format. You can see some examples in the BF4 thread.

Anyone else having issues again with Ninja? I can't seem to get it working anymore. When using the wrapper, it just says "BF3 has stopped working" right when I'm about to join a server. Outcome works, but then I can't get the mesh. I need this to work so I can help DildoOfDaDoom and myself further with the Ziba tower remake as doing them all manually with hex2obj is just sick work
Hi, Here`s a small app that reads out Chunk Guid`s and resolution from *.itexture files then finds a chunk and stitches both files together in batches. It works for about 70-75% of the images(the ones that use simple DXT1 format, I currently do not know how to deal with normal map and color, textures). Found rigged marine but I'm not so good in 3d to make good looking model. Can anyone send me a model in .3ds and .obj ? It would be great! Nice models but how do you install them in gmod? Any ideas where the "henchmen" file should be placed because I placed it on Addons and I can't find it in gmod. Can you help?
Don't bump old threads. Also the models are not ported to gmod yet(some might be ported i dunno).
