Or you can try "$reflectivity" boolean (0/1)

Yes, I think that the version without cubemap is better.
looks like you took a screenshot
That's because I don't have the money to buy a fancy-smanchy render program.
[editline]10th May 2013[/editline]
Also, does anyone know how to create eyeposing?
[editline]10th May 2013[/editline]
Gonna release this soon, since it looks done in my opinion.
Here, another pic for Facepunch:

"Excuse me, but can you not interrupt our TV time?"
Boy, how lighting and Super DOF can do wonders...
Oh damn, I forgot that I fixed his face, and fixed face doesn't support my old .vta. I'll make new one tonight. Or tomorrow.
Ok, who's the smart one rating Dumb on every single post I make?
no wonder you got rated dumb
Fuck The Pooch, could you at least stop and think about what you are doing? I'm just trying to fix up and improve something that was imcomplete. I doubt you are doing what Rinfect, Ninja Nub, Go0R, Taggart, Zurf3r, myself, and everyone else here are doing; trying to port BF3 to Garry's Mod while praising each other on each other's progress.
It's just a rating, dude. No need to get bent out of shape over it.

I know, I positioned his feet too low on the ground to make that happen. Sorry...
[editline]11th May 2013[/editline]
Also, I didn't add eyeposing because I don't know how to apply it correctly on the model.

Why are you releasing things that aren't done yet? It would seem better practice to finish something before publishing it.

Yeah your right... I know I'm doing the Black Mesa technique, but I didn't want people to wait any longer just for eyeposing... Besides, I can't seem to create posable eyes correctly since the model has the cheeks moving as if they are the eyes.

Its a very nice model, don't mind those guys. You did a good job. No need for eyeposing when the goggles are on and opaque.

I put the text on there so my render doesn't get jacked, saving it for a banner.

How do get such a crisp and clean render? Whenever I create pictures for my items, I have to use Super Depth of Field on GMod for blurring out aliasing, which is good, but makes the picture look low-res.
:v:
not like anybody would use that either way

Source Filmmaker. Useful for displaying new models, showcasing, etc.
Source Filmmaker. Useful for displaying new models, showcasing, etc.
Finally, Source Filmmaker can be useful for me.
after experimenting with different methods I found the way for obtain the original textures from BF3 (no photoshop or editing programs) directly from the game. I made the composite and blend textures for all characters from campaign and now I will start to publishing (I don't have access to mp game, therefore I don't have the textures from mp characters)
