Yeah, after extracting some of the geth and weapons textures, it looks like the rgb may be different color or illum masks and the bump maps/spec are separate. Maybe these could be combined and/or combined and have a certain layered colored or greyed out with the diffuse texture to give correct color. I dunno, its been awhile since I played with these models, and I never figured out the textures.
What i've been doing is exctracting the alpha channel of the diffuse and putting it as the alpha channel on the bumpmap to act as the phong mask, using the various mask textures as either illum or ambient occlusion masks, using the whole spec map stack as the phong exponent texture and the green channel as the phong albedo thingy or just extracting one of the channels (usually red) and use that as the phong exponent texture. I've also mixed some around and massed with them, but it seems to work. I'm still not entirely sure how to do what mario describes in that thread though @.@ (with the layering of the channels as the diffuse colouration, or at least I think thats what it meant).
Hey dude. In that screen shot you have 2 varren( I think their called) animal things. But there's only the white one in the pack? What happened to the brown one?
