why no HD textures ? 2048* [512 for CS 1.6 i think ]
BC2 textures are by default very low-quality. They look good in-game because of all sorts of texture blending modes, most notable would be dirtmaps, which give models wear and detail. It's composed of the dirt texture and the mask. Not sure if I got the mask among the things I've uploaded but the dirtmap is found in the folder with russian medic. Working on a wartorn desert camo for the m95 Still alot of stuff to do like better scratches on the metalic parts,better pistol grip,and of course barrel,scope and other tiny details. I suggest you wait until we figure out what's the best way to replicate weathering on the models, because what you've done - this seems to deviate from BC2 a lot. There's usually very little to almost no wear on flat surfaces, yet on sharper edges you can clearly see scratched off paint, etc. But, hey, keep on trucking, I don't really mind that. You can also add a vertex weld modifier and set the number to something very low (depends on the scale of the model, but usually 0.01 or 0.001)

I'm packing things up and stuff. Here's a little test I did on Neostead while at it. I've tried to replicate weathering on the gun, because there's just no way post-processing this in source, as source has no such thing as a dirt map. The texture, applied to the coordinates I had chosen, works more like a pattern, which gives you little to no control over the overall texture of the model. No texture blending, no neat details. So yeah, I'll have to pick some of the models, if not all, and choose different coordinates for them. An exception would be the foliage, because those green fuckers are not awfully complicated. The Hind... Is made by the devil imself O.o All those parts... The BF3 models were nothing compared to that one. Another note: T-90 model is almost the same as the BF3 one.
