Awesome! Maybe you could share the model?
Long post before I'm finally done with the goddamn props. And, hey, this post happens to be about props! And pretty much everything else. Now, as I've said - most models in frostbite don't have a diffuse texture. So, choosing coordinates and textures that seem to be the best-looking, and most diffuse-like would be a big mistake. Empirical knowledge, mind you. We'll have to make our own diffuse textures, like it or not. Now, I have chosen this monstrosity of a texture - an unknown to me sort of map that apparently has ambient occlusion within it somewhere. I don't even care! This thing scares me! [IMG]http://screenshooter.net/data/uploads/fy/oa/hrhr.jpg[/IMG] Oh, dear! Could that be that the entire structure, composed of different meshes uses the same weird-ass map? Yes. [IMG]http://screenshooter.net/data/uploads/qt/qf/djqx.jpg[/IMG] Next, resizing this thing to something hueg. Call this feat inefficient texturing, but I don't think there's a way around this. [IMG]http://screenshooter.net/data/uploads/la/ou/khjq.jpg[/IMG] Making the image monochrome and boost 'em channels. I'd be removing this layer later on, anyway. It's really just for visual reference. [IMG]http://screenshooter.net/data/uploads/tc/co/lxvt.jpg[/IMG] Import the diffuse materials that you need. I think you've figured out what to do by now. Use the model as a reference and pattern the different textures to corresponding parts of the greyscale thing we made. Use whatever method you like and work your way around this thing. Good for you, I'll conviniently tether the surface textures (rusty metal, boards, sand, poop etc.), so you can make your own ridiculously large diffuse textures. But then again, it's the large props, so don't you judge me!
Uhm, I have kind of a request... Could you rip the Mi-28's cockpit for me?
Any chance you can port in some of the other weapons?? MG3 and MG36, for example.

I can try rip some models after moh2010 multiplayer. But donno for what. I didn't seen models from this game ported to GMOD, luxox_18 riped few russians.

I know this an old thread, but, because I loved this game so much I wrote my own model converter/extractor from the pc version (still a work in progress but so far working good), if somebody still interested in some model just msg me. Cheers

Here's a list of itextures [url]http://pastebin.com/FGfL3HUC[/url] and here meshdata [url]http://pastebin.com/wyrbGvfB[/url] (those list may be incomplete, I don't know if there are all installable maps/vip/dlc) meshdata are the files with vertices (the mesh) and vertices info (eg: uv map), itexture are altered .dds textures, meshdata files have no clue about which itexture files are used (this information is surely in some other type of file), so currently the only way is to guess and try manually in a 3D editor.
