My problem with nm tex is this:
The textures larger than 512 px, I have to capture doubly with "texture finder", export the "alpha" layers with "xnview" to "png" format
Then I must unite in "photoshop" and create a new alpha layer, emulating the original format.
This is a great job considering the big number of textures... but i'll try in the next days.

Hey, think you could get the 4 beauties in their beast form?
I didn't realize until now how utterly perfect it is that all the MGO characters have all the pants and shirts on at the same time in one single mesh. Because when you rig it as a solo mesh and export it to generic.mesh, it imports with all the files separate AND rigged. You basically do one slightly lengthier rig job, and as a result, that single model has all its' variations set and ready to go!

This is probably a silly question, but in the 2 years I've been using Max, I don't think I ever properly learned how to apply the diffused textures, like in the screenshots on the first page. Is that done via martial editor?

Doakes, I use blender, and the effect of the capture is only due to ambient light. (base tex only)

I think the facial textures of young snake, can be used in models snake_bodycamo and vice versa....

Have I mentioned how much of a Godsend the MGO custom parts are? Been toying with the idea of doing an MG1 animation, and have been recreating models with ease thanks to this pack.

I decided to have a look at meryl's files - everything seems in order except the fact that she is missing specmaps and probably some translucent texture with wording. The only one I'd mark critical for a proper port would be the specmap, if that is at all possible to get.
Also unrelated, all of the .obj files are absolutely destroyed with 3dsmax's importer - I had to use Maya as an intermediary to get it into max.
Thanks for what you've got though. I'd like it to be accurate as possible but I can wing it if I have to.
