Yes I understand that. But that aside, his models rival all others when it comes to quality. This is my point.
I got to agree with you on the tool belt tough. But again, FF did not make models for GMod.

Yes, but I for one think FP is getting entirely too serious about things. Look in the screenshots section, it's like 90% war, death, dark emo drama. I've seen more uplifting suicide notes. The forums could [i]use[/i] a bit of silly.

As for the issue with FF sexualization of HL, all I have to say is context is king.

Your models and textures are really amazing. It would be also very cool to have that compiler that can make like 100k poly models.

The FakeFactory releases since...CM9 or CM10 (or earlier) always contain the modified studiomdl.exe to compile those models properly. It is always located under sourcemods\FAKEFACTORY_CM*Number*\bin

This guy has been around making awesome models for years, for free, and you have the choice to use them or not. What's not to like?
They're not just cheap rips off a video game, he created those from scratch. NO other modeler on this forum even comes close to this guy's expertise level.

If I remember correctly actually most of his base meshes are poser models. Just dropping this before you put a foot up your mouth.

They are I think, but then again, show me a modeler who created anything from scratch for GMod that looked good.
The truth is! The GMod community does not attract people with that kind of skill. It is porting, re skinning and to some degree, modeling. But real work from scratch? Nope.

I know quite a few folks that scratch model. Nirrty comes to mind, fewes, simkas probably bunch of others. Eitherway not defending or negating the modelling prowess of different people here. Just stating that CM did have very few actual scratch models, if any as well.

That has probably something to do, with the fact that poser models are in no way designed for game engines. The bigger problem with FF's models though isn't how high quality from a polycount sense they are. The bigger issue is how the models look to be honest. Decent skin textures, cloth textures that look like plaster.

Debatable, his maps lost some of the atmosphere valve was trying to put in place, still living tree's, bushes, and shrubs placed wildly, scaffolding everywhere as if the combine was trying to rebuild.
And the character models are just god awful most of the time, alyx in most of the more recent additions looks like a tramp with diamond nipples who who thinks practical fighting gear is a slingshot bikini, eli looks like a young samuel l. jackson who has downs syndrome, among other things. The mods themselves are unoptomized as fuck and i think are warez since they have their own hl2.exe.
No. I do not pity or feel or sympathize for him, from what i heard he was stubborn and refused to change anything and any complaints he got he scoffed at.
