Yes there is a few programs to extract Me3 audio and it is extracted as ogg files.

Well, I would do it myself except I don't have my copy of ME3 on PC yet.

If anyone would be kind enough to get me the background sound effect that plays during this:

I never thought about ME1, I went into the ME2 files a year or so ago and got Kelly saying "Message at your private terminal" thing for my email sound.. and EDI saying "Logging you out Shepard" for shutting down my pc.

Mass Effect 1 uses simple .upk files for extracting. I don't think any old copy of oggextract.exe can work with it though. It needs an updated version like Gibbed's or something.

I got what I could, a lot of programs would not support the .wav codec the files were extracted to so I could only get a few files that worked. Sorry.

No, I used the Pyschonauts extractor since it uses the same format. I then tried translating the .wavs to a proper codec but Goldwave refused to open more than half of them. I got the ones that I could find.

Did my "enhancement" actually enhance anything? All I did was enlarged it to 1024 and overlayed better metal, rubber and fabric textures. Edges are kind of rough still. Won't know untill applied it on an actual model.

I don't think you can, if he's made with the facegen stuff. I heard there was a way, actually, but I'm not a porter.

There is a way because I think it was Cire992 or someone but they ported over there custom Shepard but Im guessing its much more difficult.
