What are your guys plans for GM13? It's getting released in September and I am worried that all these addons will break and all your hard work will have gone to waste. Is it going to be difficult to switch them to gm13 or will you be able to update them without having to make many if any changes or putting extra work into that has already gone into putting them on the source 07 engine (which is what i assume it's on in gm12)

All ME addons working properly in GM 13 Beta, and I don't think this will change in future.

I don't know why people think models break every time garry updates gmod. You could install these on any version of source since orange box and they'd work the same. Hell, I have models and maps that date back to 2005 and still work fine. It's LUA and code files that break, not the content. So when your pack of poorly coded NPCs and playermodels refuses to work, it's the code, not the content.
I just think its because of the note on the menu or pause or somewhere saying your shit will break.
I dont suppose anyone could port the multiplayer Batarian could they? That armour is pretty cool.
How about just a giant fuck pack with a lot of MP characters (like the ex-Cerberus iPhone guy lookalike, Vorcha, Batarian(s), some of the other randoms like the Sentinels and soldiers, pretty much everyone from Resurgence and Rebellion, etc) or release them in increments of four or big groups we can jizz about. It's better than slowly trickling in to wait and get a "Christmas" in my opinion.
I could do the MP characters eventually providing nobody expects faceposing on the batarians/vorcha, and providing nobody's already working on them.
Unless i can find someone who actually knows how to do faceposing from scratch to work with me on it, then i'll only be able to give faceposing to whatever races have already been ported.

I can deal with a lack of it, aside from the asari characters. Besides, most of the characters are wearing headwear of some sort.

I've been working on MPChars but without faceFX.
the creepers were just reskinned husks werent they? I cant think of anything really worth porting now. I guess Benezia might be cool, Vorcha, armoured Salarians (werent they already ported?), perhaps the reaperfied Saren, Scions and I remember someone saying that kolyat actually had a unique head mesh whatsit. Oh and does anyone know if we have those tech items used for doors? I could slap one on a wall and say "hey look, a door." :) I would very much like the police caution tape too.
There's plenty. Benezia, Armored Salarians, ME2 BattleMaster Krogan, the Aminals, Creepers (they aren't reskinned husks on the pc version, they just have the same skeleton and anims), Casual Turians, Casual Krogan, Batarian Engineer, Casual batarians, Big Ass Me1/2 geth, Centurion, MP non humans and that's just off the top of my head.
I know I have the casuals I just havent been on it in a while so I cant remember if they were armoured or not. No its not, thanks though :) I already have those prop packs, they're awesome. The one in the second picture looks like it could do.. maybe stick it on some other piece of tech to make it look like one.
The armored ones aren't armored, they're medics. Check the merc builds.
Most of the multiplayer characters arent needed tbh. The 2 asari adepts/vanguards are already ported (random commando suit and Liara in armour). We have geth, quarians, turians. I'd like the krogan though (soldier and sentinel) they were kinda newish looking.. well default krogan head on grunts body.. but still.
I'd prefer props and stuff to build scenes with mostly, and I guess theres the omni-shield, unless GoOR included it in the Earth pack. Oh and the armour tech.

In my opinion, all that would really matter from the MP are a few models such as the different colored armor/glow for the BF3 soldier, or some of the humans, the Krogans, Batarians, Vorcha, Cerberus chap, and that's it. The Centurions and Benezia would also be great to have, but I have to agree with Tydeus the more I think about it. I'd much rather have props for scenes. I dislike being limited to having to work with Obj_Vertigo, RP_Apocalypse, and a few other splendid maps, but scenebuild props will be great.
Especially everything from London and Vancouver.
"Muriel"
I've finished her, not really, only Beta.
Like a "can be already used but glitchy"-beta or a "won't ever be finished"-beta?
Okey guys , i wanted to say thank you for all the models you ported over from the game n such cause it enabled me to make this as best as i could . Enjoy

This song sounds more like one of those old cartoon intro themes, you should've played on that. After the song ended I expected to hear some narration from some dude saying "Meanwhile at the Legion of Doom HQ" or something :D
It's the typical commando outfit, download Haxxers asari pack.
I think maybe the pilots use the cerberus armour (dlc in ME2).. or a modification of Kaidan's armour with different shoulders. I think the whole white thing inbetween his shoulders and neck are like a seat-belt type restraint.

But it's not Morinth's head.
It probably is, you'll just need a facemap. Unless Morinth used Samara's head.
I'm pretty sure all asari use the same head mesh in Mass effect, just with different textures and such to make them all look different.
It probably is, you'll just need a facemap. Unless Morinth used Samara's head.
She uses a generic asari one if I remember correctly.
Didn't somebody worked at Harbinger?

What?
Didn't somebody worked at Harbinger?
No, but I would really like it to be ported so I can do some animation for a project I'm working on.

I asked if somebody was working on a Ragdoll of this Reaper.

Why does everyone take a guess instead of finding out for real?
Samara uses a personal head model based on the model Rana McAnear which in turn morinth uses as well, otherwise she couldn't take samaras place in disguise.
The generic asari looks nothing like her as seen below, and the "face changer" in the faceposing can't remedy that much, especially the nose.

I did find out, I just didnt think it was important. I know the Samara model cosplays as Samara at just about every convention, but I've never liked Samara or Morinth.
No default FemShep for me I guess :(
I have seen almost every character model, but not the FemShep. Has anyone actually finished it?

Go back a page. GoOR says she's in beta. Patience! You need to learn patience!

Excuse me :(
Dude i am still working on it. And she'll be uploaded soon, as soon as i port all her DLC outfits. Anyway she's looks really awesome, you'll like it.
If someone would port
helmet and helmetless, I would be eternally grateful. Forever.

Yeah I support this. We've seen other merc bands in gmod (Blue Suns, Eclipse, etc) but no Blood Pack.
