What's up with the fleshy red skin around her eyeballs? It looks more like something from Star Wars than Mass Effect.
It's actually there on Male Turians too, only it's either black or Grey on them.
There's going to be streams later today that will show her off in more detail. She wears a hood when she's a squadmate, but you can still easily see her face. She's Kasumi-like.
On another subject, any chance of a status update on the Tali mask thing? I don't mean to pester. Take all the time you need.
There's also going to be adjutants.
Finally.

Yay :) I love those guys. Do we have a release date yet?
27th.
So once Omega comes out, if anyone drops me the files for Nyreen, I'll be happy to set her up for GMod... probably use her as a base for casual\armored female turians too.
Same for the Adjutants.
Hello everyone, so am a filmmaker considering whether or not I really want to make Mass Effect 1 a movie, but before I decide, I need to find the CGI models to see if this can even be possible. I already have a descent library of models, but what am looking for is a FBX krogan. Can you guys point me in the right way? Any help would be totally awesome!! :D
Thanks!

Never mind I think I found it. Wow you guys have some amazing models. I'll see if I can download Gmod, and start downloading this models. Hopefully there compatible with Maya. :)

There was a pack of krogans. Did you see that pack?

Sure did, I just need to download Gmod.
If I wanted to try my hand at porting, would someone be willing to pull the rigged models and textures out of one of the games for me?

It's better if you do it yourself. The hardest part really is the porting, not obtaining the files.
You should also check out the Mass Effect model catalogue, which you can find here:
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1177453
It hasn't been updated in a while though, but there are still tons of models there.
I have rectified this. The catalog should be just about up to date now, and is nice and easy to browse through now that I've reorganized it. Haven't looked around on the workshop yet though, besides Korro's EDI.

Oh, a lot of the stuff is up there, though most of it is uncredited reuploads.
^ Yeah, makes it hard to sort out. Especially when some of the guys aren't using the original release pics, makes it hard to tell what's what. I thought it would be as easy as plugging the workshop links into the catalog but instead its like a jigsaw puzzle...
Well that's just expected, this fucker not only reuploads other people's models but also takes credits for porting them, didn't even bother changing names of the folders which says for example:
models/haxxer/joker/joker.mdl

is it possible that he's just redoing ports that he wasn't aware had already been done
I doubt he re-did them with coincidentally exactly the same path that Haxxer uses. Can't you report anything like that on workshop, or does nobody moderate it?
is it possible that he's just redoing ports that he wasn't aware had already been done
And just coincidentally made all the same flexes on "his" Liara and and coincidentally decided to make his own ds9 uniform which is "coincidentally" the same as mine and "coincidentally" stuck them in folders named "cire992" or "haxxer" for some reason? No, he's taking credit for our work. I don't mind him uploading stuff there (at least as it pertains to my mods) but I wish he would make it clear where the models originated from, and god forbid, credited people for their work. I don't understand why he why he would just take credit for something like that. It's a mod, not a cancer cure.
Report ALL the things!
You work hard to port hundreds of Mass Effect models into GMod, then he takes credits for your ports, and complains he is tired?
The least this guy deserves is a bullet to the foot.
It's not only the stealing and taking credit of the mods that makes me angry. He uses pictures from Mass Effect and adds crappy looking text to them as the thumbnail for the workshop items. Least he can do is put a little bit of effort into it, by showing the actual model. I am beyond mad.
If his stuff gets taken down, does that mean that the people subscribed to the mods he posted will lose their content?
If his stuff gets taken down, does that mean that the people subscribed to the mods he posted will lose their content?
I would assume so. sorry to hear about all this mess. Hope everything gets sorted out.
If his stuff gets taken down, does that mean that the people subscribed to the mods he posted will lose their content?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it would erase the content. Maybe one of us could re-upload it without taking credit from others.
^ Or I was thinking just convince him to credit us, then we don't have to upload anything. I asked him on one of his mods but he hasn't replied, and his friends list is full so I cant message him.
If his stuff gets taken down, does that mean that the people subscribed to the mods he posted will lose their content?
Normally, the content will remain on their hard drive, they just won't receive any further updates (if any) to the mods that were taken off of the Workshop. This is only an assumption based on experience with how the Workshop was handled with Skyrim though, so I may be wrong about how it would work for GMod.
Looks like it's time to unleash the report-pocalypse...
Someone should port the XNA ones we don't have, such as Vorchaaaaaah.
DAMN, I'm so close. I can see that what I need are these StaticMeshComponents in the StaticMeshActor section. I wouldn't be surprised if these contained the morph data for characters using generic heads. Or at the very least related to it.
For what it's worth, you can make shepards now in the likeness of in-game characters and get those fully rigged heads no problem. But that's still not as accurate as it could be...
If anyone is interested, the guys at digitalero are working on a non-nude Kelly Chambers.
To get the romance model, just use Gildor's umodel to extract the file called
BioD_Nor_002CabinKelly.pcc
from the CookedPC folder of your Mass Effect 2 Install.
Inside SkeletalMesh3:
Kelly's face model is: HMF_Blank_World_LOD0.psk
The Dancer body is: HMF_ARM_NKDb_MDL.psk
Kelly's hair model is: HMF_HIR_Mom_MDL.psk
There's a second hair model called HMF_HIR_Sxy_MDL.psk. It's the same length hair, but different - I'm not sure if it was used in the game or not, but the HMF_HIR_Mom_MDL is the hair in the picture posted by OP. There's also a few extra assets not actually used in the romance sequence - I'm assuming they're just leftover cruft.
The various texture maps are in the Texture2D folder. They're mostly obvious from the names. I don't 100% understand how the diffuse textures work in this game - they somehow tint the diffuse at runtime, so the same texture is used for a white or black character, for example, or a blue or purple Asari.
The XNA guys already did her and Traynor a while back.
Apparently Sculptor doesn't realize that the normals and specmap actually control color blending and highlighting, and aren't even in traditional three channel mode.
