It's surprising they didn't just reuse a different model for it, but you could probably use a cerberus armor/inferno armor helmet for it.
it's no big deal. Just was wandering what was in the works. I know I'm not in any position to demand anything..... >_> keepers.... with body grouped saddle... for space cowboy Garrus.
I wish BioWare would've took the time to work on a few ships interiors we could explore.. perhaps get to walk around arcturus station and a huge variation of "cars" in the galaxy rather than the same cars repainted, and the odd flatbed. I imagine we should've seen cars like the ones from Blade Runner, Minority Report, I Robot and maybe the new Total Recall with a Delorean easter egg :P like how I expected to see a blue police box in london
Any plans on porting joker?

Currently struggling to learn to do ragdolls so i can do the APCs.

I was just looking at google images and to me it seems BioWare got their inspiration from the Blade Runner car with the obvious differences: [THUMB]http://www.automopedia.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/br-spinner.gif[/THUMB] And also Total Recall (2012) I think may have their inspiration from Mass Effect.. At least in the armour style. Am I right? [THUMB]http://www.thinkhero.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/total-recall-car-2.jpg[/THUMB]
Mass Effect has a pretty generic sci fi appearance. EDIT: I mean these guys

Personally, i prefer the ME cars. I don't like the stupid noises they make, though.

I would have a pretty hard time sitting down in them, they're pretty low. Also Senscith, who are those guys? :P
They're from that trailer, i think they're meant to be alliance marines. But they just look like Kaidan/Vega's alternate outfit with a generic ME helmet put on them.

That's kinda like expecting somali pirates to have some f-22 stuck here and there. With that in mind, expecting more cars is probably too much to wish for.
Mass Effect has a pretty generic sci fi appearance. EDIT: I mean these guys
Only in me3 and that mostly just goes for cerberus. Me1 and me2 where Sci fi opera cliche's but definitely were relatively unique looking compared to most games. The armours looked more like swimsuits than armour. Come me3, cerberus seems to have made a run in with tiberium sun's GDI though.
ME3 definitely reminds me that it's only set about 100-200 years into the future, so I could never really tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing that it suddenly looked a lot more like a semi-modern warfare game like Battlefield 2142.
Mass Effect has a pretty generic sci fi appearance. EDIT: I mean these guys
They're just Alliance Marines with Camo on the 'em.
They look like there wearing the cerberus engineer armour but with like a alliance helmet.... oh wait that just gave me an idea for a hack....brb

Advances which are putting less and less stress on infantry as years go by and more on highly efficient aircraft and armour. There's essentially no tanks, no artillery, no nothing. Just infantry, APC's and a few rare gunships here and there. You pit the reapers against a modern earth army and as long as the reaper is down on the ground, the reaper is going to be dead and very very quickly. Could still make a decent large scale game though I guess. And I wouldn't be surprised if they actually do make it. In part to have a non battlefield, battlefield to be pitted against battlefront.

Inferior reapers race Superior human race
Yeah, the human race of our era seems to be more bad ass than the Mass Effect guys. I guess if they ever to an MMO or a full on online skirmish game rather than Galaxy at War, they could give us Mass Effect versions of the tech shit we use now. You'd almost think BioWare didnt try :P
It's seems that in the mass effect universe, combat has become more naval based...
It's seems that in the mass effect universe, combat has become more naval based...
Well, of course it is. Pretty hard to move a division from Earth to Eden Prime on foot.
They look like there wearing the cerberus engineer armour but with like a alliance helmet.... oh wait that just gave me an idea for a hack....brb
Except they're different, and it'd be more sensible to use kaidan's armor with a generic human helmet on it. [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9988278/soldierz.jpg[/img_thumb] They're similar, sure, but Kaidan's armor is what they used. So if you're going to make an attempt at hacking it together you might as well use what they did. "cerberus hacks" is not the answer to every problem.

[editline]4th April 2012[/editline]
I never noticed how over-emphazised the upper torso is on Kaidan's armor.
That's because the new body meshes they used for models in ME3 are jersey shore exaggerated.
I finally got the ragdoll for this to stop breaking and now the wheels don't keep falling off.

More of a dark silver than gun-metal. Can't way to see this nonetheless.
Now on to do some other vehicles. Probably the Mako next.
Well, of course it is. Pretty hard to move a division from Earth to Eden Prime on foot.
No but even the army fly their soldiers to places, they didnt walk to Afghanistan on foot. They could just take the army to a planet and set them up. But then instead of Colonists complaining that the Alliance ignore them.. they can complain that they wont leave :D
Got the flatbed version too since i found it whilst i was looking for the Mako. I'm not gonna port the 'missile launcher' because it's just a bunch of random props stuck together, but i will port the missiles.
So basically... Our current armies would kick ass against the reapers along as there on the ground?
Pretty much - going by ingame calcs our current nukes are stronger than what human dreadnaughts have for a main armanent. And the strongest tested nuke (tzar) is between 100-800 times stronger than a capital reapers main armanent. Want to kill reapers in space as the alliance? Grab those fighters. Stick a VI into them, put bunker buster nukes in and send them at reapers. That's concerning superweapons. Then you have army and airforce advancement. Like I've said humanity in mass effect seem to be somewhere between ww1 and ww2 as tactics and equipment goes. The only thing they have extra is better CAS and worse arty.
I highly doubt this has any at all to do with the lore (especially since artillery and such is mentioned in the codex) and is really only because bioware is too lazy to make proper models. On top of that all the trailers and other promotional materials don't include anything resembling other equipment. And the gunship is pretty much confirmed in the codex to be ubiquitous. It's more a case of Bioware not doing their homework.
