If you're partially re-doing the model, could you make a version with a better version of the high heeled boot? (Namely, with it looking more like a boot and less like a sock. If I had a scanner, I'd put up some concepts, but I guess I'll have to do those in Fireworks.)

However, there are two flaws in it: 1) The original idea from Valve was to give the assassin springy high heels: similar to those shown at [url]http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190068974169[/url], insofar as making the heels out of a curved, springy polymer. This would (in the concept artist's view, at least) allow them to run a lot faster and jump higher. 2) This being a videogame, practicality counts for nothing. If it did, the helmet would not compromise depth perception with its monocular lens, and stealthy assassins would not be wearing bright white clothing.

The base model for this was the assassin from Missing Info, take a look at that assassin and you can observe the problem. I still say it had more in common with a sock than a boot. What I meant to say about that was to (like you did on your existing model) create a new boot, only with a heel. however, I know very little about rigging models, so this could still have the same problem. What caused the heel bending problem in the MI model?

It's still possible to remake the foot with a heel but it would interfere with the active uv-maps and the bones, but it's possible.

Just an update for everyone,work has been progressing rather quickly and thanks to my 3-day weekend I have more time to finish it up. [-new normal map [-adjusted skin [-fixed joint constraints [-can replace Alyx (model manipulator compatible) [-extensive work on the vertex weights [-extensive work on the uv-maps [-Elite head with blue eye [-better phymodel [+hopefully fingerposable Expect a release around Wednesday, if all goes well.
