*awesome doom stuff*
Now that's what Doom 3's monster designs should have looked like. Not the watered-down, generic not-aliens they went with. Excellent work.

[editline]23rd October 2012[/editline] Thanks so much for posting that ninja ripper tool
Hopefully this should be better than your last :v: I was gonna ask if that ninja ripper tool could port from MP3, but you beat me to it :)
black_ninja has restricted the ninja ripper, sorry I can't share  I received this message: "прошу не постить зеркала, продвигаем риппер в русском сообществе"
It's a bit late for that. That may have been why I had never heard of it, though. You crafty Russians! That explains why all the Russian sites had a bunch of good ports. I hope he doesn't mind that I keep using it. I'm part Ukrainian, that is close enough to Russia. The 1911 is ridiculous. It has 9 different parts that move.
Max has nice hair :v: [sp]I'll be really impressed if R* Actually Modelled the insides of the weapons I still think they're bluffing :V[/sp]
Max has nice hair :v: [sp]I'll be really impressed if R* Actually Modelled the insides of the weapons[/sp]
Well they obviously did for the demonstration models, but yeah I'm curious to know if the single player weapon models are fully modeled inside, if they are that's fucking awesome.
There's no springs or coils, but the inside of the ejector port and slide, mag well and shit are. I saw the micro 9mm had the spring shit baked onto the texture and bumpmap for it. They're about as detailed as you can get for a game that isn't first person.
If people don't mind the Black Mesa Source head I think he's done now.
Looks great imo. Where is the body from?
Holy crap... this ripper works with DX:HR, Gonna see if it gets UV's right as well...
This ripper sounds like it'll really revitalize this section with all the models you guys can get now.
has anyone tried with ps2/wii emutes? I didnt have luck with ps2, ganna try wii.
This ripper sounds like it'll really revitalize this section with all the models you guys can get now.
Not really, it will help with getting models from games that are not easily ported from though.
Well, most character models don't work, the model is all muddled... sad... Time to try other games
Not really, it will help with getting models from games that are not easily ported from though.
No, it pretty much completely replaces the regular ripper in every way. It's easier to use, works with way more games, it rips everything already T-posed and actually names the models and textures in a way that you don't have to check every single one just to find the one thing you want.
Well, most character models don't work, the model is all muddled... sad... Time to try other games
any chance you could port props? DXHR had some tasty prop models
any chance you could port props? DXHR had some tasty prop models
I'll see what is there, but the ripper doesn't rip nice and simple names from here like simkas said :v:
I'll see what is there, but the ripper doesn't rip nice and simple names from here like simkas said :v:
well it kinda does model and texture numbers correspond, in most cases i.e. on one particular model I'm trying to get at, the main body model is mesh_1337, which in turn uses the texture tex_1337
Issue is you don't know which model is what number, so it becomes some trial and error. Also I seem to have gotten it to rip and import the meshes properly from DXHR, but my textures that were ripped are pink. Just the color pink. If your having issues with the models, be sure that the Vertex Layout is set to Auto, Scale is set to 1, and Rotate X is set to 0 and zoom out some. The meshes are pretty big.
Issue is you don't know which model is what number, so it becomes some trial and error.
Better than importing everything at once and having 3ds max lag the fuck down making it annoying to actually get the stuff you need and also sift trough all the random geometry that's just duplicates of the same shit.
Holy shit! Show us a model of any Commando Sombra and we will all love you for ever and ever :3
If you don't love me forever already then I don't think you deserve to see it.
If you don't love me forever already then I don't think you deserve to see it.
But bro.... you know I do :3
Issue is you don't know which model is what number, so it becomes some trial and error.
A good way to get around this is to look through the textures first, and then import the corresponding numbered model file or files, if neccessary
