There's also the fact that I need to work on the .VMT for the textures. As it stands now, the model looks very dull with just the texture alone, and I don't think I have the original normal map for it. There's also a few other things that need tweaking, but I'll get around to that later if I have the time. I still want to make some props for GMod with this stuff, but I still can't seem to get any of my compiles to work properly. I've reinstalled GMod and used several different compiling programs, but every attempt keeps coming up with the game saying there was a scripting error. No clue what's causing it either, the only thing the console mentions is something about a null entry in an LUA file.
I got the second part done now, misc left, the knife,belt,zipper, ect then the last thing will be detail work on the normals to give boots leather look. Yeah, I've been dying to work on releasing all of this stuff but I can't even get a basic compile together. Even with QCs that worked previously I'm still unable to get anything to work with any program, which is one of the reasons I've come to hate source engine, for it's rampant disgregard of all things sane and user-friendly. In my dreams I see an engine with GI, AO, and spec with real raycast reflections, with anamorphic lens flare rendered tastefully, where the models are .OBJ and the materials are .TGA, and the water tastes sweet like sugar. The collision meshes are created by auto-optimization of the actual mesh, and physics constraints for ragdolls can be tweaked in-engine, while materials and scripts can be reloaded through the console without need to restart, or perhaps even set to stream live and auto-update spontaneously, and if you open a drawer or cabinet in game, there is chocolate inside.

It's a compiled binarised format as far as I Know. A bit more obfuscated than MDL.

They aren't fully part of the unit and don't always end up in the high end combat situations but they do tend to end up in combat as well. Plus don't forget another important thing. As far as females and front line. Not everyone is the US which has a congressional ban on females serving on front line duties. A lot of nations don't make a distinction and do have enough females in the armed forces that they do show up in frontline infantry positions as well. Sure as far as I know, none are in spec ops but frontline? Yes.

In most Western militaries for example, you'll probably only see women in rear echelon units. However, Israel conscripts men and women, so it is a safe bet that Israeli women might be heavily involved in combat. Also, Russia doesn't really care about whether women can be in the frontline units so long as it's one more person firing a Kalashnikov rifle at the enemy during a battle.
