just an fyi that the insides of cammies arn't patterned so it should have a white-ish overlay to it. ::EDIT:: the sleeve rolls that is.
I agree, can't recall any makes or models of camo that have it on the inside as well.
needs more 3/4 rolled version
Armchair infantry guys, stop. I know they aren't patterned in the inside. These are based off how the US Army wore their uniforms. The Army rolled their sleeves differently than the Marines do so that the outer camo pattern was still visible. Oh and blame Bloo for that, he added the rolled up sleeves not me.
are you going to give them balaclavas?

May I also offer that it is literally physically-fucking-impossible to roll a sleeve to the outside (aka how your model is) without the inside showing. Please do feel free to tell me how that works. EDIT: After some experimentation apparently if you roll into into an awkward-ass serpentine thing it's possible. My mistake.
it's actually not impossible at all you roll the sleeved INWARDS instead of outwards, and on the final roll you roll it outwards the result is that you have the pattern on the outside without showing the inner pattern, as that is hidden under the rest of the rolled sleeve

The Army did this prior to switching to ACU. I prefer armchair cavalry myself. And regardless of what they are they look good man. If you want some pictures of multicam uniforms kinda worn out I'd be happy to give them to you guys. They're not perfect but could help give you an idea for getting a "regular modern soldier" type model together instead of all that high-speed hooah SF nonsense that everyone's hooked on.
Biscuit Boy, asking people to explain why you're wrong, then editing your post and rating everyone who did what you asked "late" is not very nice.
hastily made a Barnabus version for Sven Co-op. credit for the facemap goes to Greg from oddsim, i'll make my own when i have the time and coffee to spare.
"Freeze And no funny business!"

Also Rusty himself is in the Army, or at least I think he is.
Biscuit Boy, asking people to explain why you're wrong, then editing your post and rating everyone who did what you asked "late" is not very nice.
I realize that seems douchebaggy, but I'd made the realization and edited to correct myself before any of them had finished or perhaps even begun replying. For example Rusty's quote of my post contains the edit, as it was made before he posted. And the point still stands that he's not being very great either for calling people armchair commandos when I was simply trying to offer advice. Then I got offended and turned into an ass. EDIT: And I thought you guys were all too cool to give fucks about ratings anyway?
I'm not really asking for advice. I'm just posting progress pics that's all. Most of my replies to the posts regarding the models have pretty much been "That's great, I'm already aware and don't care" I don't care about being a military perfectionist when it comes to these models. They're originally just based off Left 4 Dead's National Guard soldiers. Bloo just likes adding bodygroups and variations so they're getting different patterns that he's suggested. They're not meant to be accurate. Oh and about me being in the military, yes I was. I got out January of this year though. Bloo is also in.
And that's fine if you don't want the advice but that doesn't make it cool to just start condescending to people who are trying to be helpful.
Well I'm sorry mister man I didn't think you'd get so butt devastated over it.

Any chance you could let me at that stock so I could try to texture it like a proper LMT Sopmod for funsies?
While finalising the players with LT I'm going through the heroes and shit probably gonna start with the pilot (I know Ninja Nub did the pilot with LT already but I'm redoing it to match scales + add the new premium version) and Grendel as they don't have wierd skeletons (looking at you, chronos) and have already been set up anyway Oh yeah, they also have greyscales and colour masks for them now, so I'll be making a custom skin for each with the same blue/black scheme as the players
i guess i will post black light stuff to [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/577849604438259069/1EE63B72D53A617AE9133554874B4A83A5552831/[/t]
Methinks knives are too big. Scale compared to like...CSS knife?
scale relative to the players and tweak from there, that's what I did for the guns I've done that'd be 36 x, 37 y and 37 z from the original size
When I need to scale something, I also get some character model from the same game or whatever, then import a HL2 citizen or whatever model, then link the whatever I need scaled and the character from the game together and then scale the character until it matches the citizen.
Good to see you got your freedom back mate. I've still got about a year and a half left. Of course I'm one of those little kids who wasn't around for the BDU Army so I'm afraid I can't really help with those.

Bloo wanted me to show Father Grigori off. I hate posing though.
Grigori in fatigues looks kind of...Cuban...
