Judging from the camo pattern and logo, i'd say it's from black ops 2.

It's much better to keep them just brown, black or something even though it might not actually be like that in reality.
It's mostly to help break the model's outline and make it look less like a big blob of camo - to make it look decent in game really.
Look at the snake picture you're using as a reference - same thing really. It would just not look as good if the bags and pouches were uniform with the body.
Yeah I see what you're saying. Bloo wants to keep the pattern on the pouches but I guess we'll see what happens in the end.
you can have two versions one with camo on the gear and another version with just a solid color.

The hair's placement, and the elevation of the head look a tad off, but aside from that I think a 'decent start' is abit of an understatement, especially considering it's you're first hack.
