So I've come across a bit of a snag, has anyone encountered this bug before? [img]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/11742779/Perskin%20WIPs/KorroBravin/Remastered/LampProblem.jpg[/img] This happens when I shine a lamp on it in Gmod (not sure if it does this in SFM or not, will have to check) Anyone have any ideas as to what's up? It looks perfectly normal with no lamps shining on it though

And I have welded all the relevant verts, so a duplicate faces would be removed right? [editline]13th February 2013[/editline] Wait yeah, it is double faces, how did those not get removed... I can select and delete the extra ones in max, but doing that for all of them could get tedious, any quick way?

Textures are progressing briskly. I'm a few away from everything but the rigging being done on the female side. Also, I'm in the hunt for more heads! Send me heads! Strange[/QUOTE] it's that stuff on the exoskeleton that makes it look really, really rough and uneven; clearly visible on the head dome in your first pic, for example. are the aliens not supposed to be smooth and slimy? because they appeared that way in the movie also, take a look at this. the first normal map is the one used on the main xenomorph model (downscaled from 2048), the second one is from the gibbed upper torso. see the difference?
