flipped faces?
Then how should I do, professor?
Just select the "editable mesh/poly" modifier you have (do not convert, because you will lose your weights), and find the "flip" option. Select all the polys/tris and then pick the ones that are darker (these are the flipped ones) and flip them.
Meh, I'm not retexturing another helmet model. As for the vest, can you post a pic?
EDIT: Of the one from the game I mean. I'd rather it have no gear or equipment on it.
if you're looking for vests, here is a good one. as seen on my Esp wars faction, ripped from resident evil..
Nah, Bloo doesn't want to use it because it's a Vietnam era flak vest I think. I'm not sure, maybe someone can convince him. :P
The Missing Information combine have vests heavily based off the PASGT vest, those could maybe work if you're looking for one of those.
It'd be kind of neat to see some slightly more modern stuff like early 2000s invasion of iraq gear, like some MOLLE and an IOTV/IBA (or similar, i have no idea about the names of gear from back then i just sort of know what it looks like), i think insurgency might have some gear from around that time but i've not looked at it in so long that i can't remember if it's of any decent quality or not.
Maybe Cod4 models might have some stuff for that time period too but the quality probably isn't great on them either.

Does anyone tell me what the heck is the wrong with the fat guy's mouth?
Simply type "$nocull" in face .vmt file
looks like a bad case of inverted faces. $nocull won't completely fix it, you gotta flip them

Not to mention nocull is something you should never use to fix inverted faces. instead it's something you should only use if you need some faces to be two sided.
Just out of curiosity but is there a way to convert Xbox 360 Source Engine model files and materials back to a PC Source Engine readable format? I have ripped models and materials from Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition that are not present in the PC version and was searching quite a long time for a answer in Google (with no luck).
From what I know though is that the models use LZMA compression and need to be decompressed or converted or whatever to the regular PC format, same with the materials except that they are compressed .dds files. Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition uses the L4D version of Source instead of HL2 (I asked around in the Zeno Clash forums and one of the active developers told me it does use the L4D version of Source).

I vaguely recall that Zeno Clash also uses its own changes to the model format, hence the existence of the official model pack for GMod.

Little Chiclet teeth.
Hi folks.
I'm working on my secret project involving a citizen head put onto a Breen suit. All goes well until the face posing went wonky. When I tell it to blink, he widens his eyes; when I tell him to smile, he frowns; etc. even on faceposer value +1.
Can anyone help me, please? :)
