I'm sorry, but why are you posting GTA:SA models and Fallout 3 models even though this is a Garry's Mod thread? This has turned from a Metal Gear Solid Garry's Mod Model thread into a Grand Theft Fallout chatroom.
All these great models wasted on these other games.
if anyone can give the the .dar / .qar files I can try if solidus hacking tool will work on it ?

Hi guys, can anyone tell me how can I get the MGS 4 (Guns of the patriots) Meryl's textures? I'm close to finish the model but as I noticed, getting MGS 4 textures appeared to be an impossible thing for me.
I've got the 3D Ripper and MGS 4 itself, but I can't launch it or extract textures on PC, of course. I've looked for PS3 emulators to launch it and extract the textures via Ripper but there aren't any working versions of them by now.

There was a post that some guy was working on a plugin for obtaining models (and textures, probably) from MGS 4 but the page has expired.
I'm completely new to texture creation and it would be awesome if someone could advice me how to obtain her textures. Thanks.

I noticed that that soldier was ported to GTA SA and iv been looking for mgs2 enemy soldiers to use in gta sa so do u think u culd send me the download link for the SA skin of that model
nope. nobody here is going to help you with models for gta sa. this is a source modding forum. go to an sa modding forum.

If you're trying to reach sidneymadmax, contact him through a private message. This forum is only for Source Engine games, so you're asking the wrong people when it comes to San Andreas stuff. Rusty is a moderator here so it's his job to make sure that things stay on topic, that's why he's telling you these things.

First off, this is a Source modding site that's mostly based around Garry's Mod content (which has nothing to do with the GTA series, mind you). Anything involving another game that doesn't revolve around porting models from those games to GMod or another Source game will almost always (if not always) fall on deaf ears around here.
Second, unless I'm mistaken, the models you are wanting should be available for download here as resources - if you want them in GTA, you'll have to either do it yourself or ask elsewhere. However, if I am wrong about the downloads, you'd be better off asking Sidneymax directly through a PM.
Can someone who downloaded this awhile back reupload the pack again from the first post, since fileserve deleted the file and no longer allows file sharing.
