It's a shame though, in all seriousness. Have many people been having that map problem in gmod? I've heard a few cases around.
apparently, the only other problem is lag. my guess is Gmod is now eating up more ram.
I've made this guess after seeing a low paged memory message on my Win XP SP3 machine. (I thought I had SP2 at first)
Lol well I have progress on my Honey model: 80% rigged figured out what I needed to do vertex group wise
And in other good news, I got my Gmod working right again. Meaning the delay was short lived.

Edit: nevermind I figured out the problem
When I parented the bone to the model I accidentally did so multiple times.
So it was causing the mesh to move way the hell more than intended.
the Physmesh apparently came out unscathed though. Because it was on another layer. Go me and my brilliance.

I'm smart, not that smart. But that same problem happened to me with a model(don't ask, please, please don't) and I fixed it nonetheless in a day

Well I'm fixing it now so yeah xD just had too many bone armature modifiers linked with it is all.

I think that same guy has also made a damn impressive looking Giovanni model. But that's a different story, for a different thread.
He also made alot of other sonic characters, like mecha sally, ixis naugus (i think thats how you spell it) and fang the sniper among others. He's really good, but i think he said he wont let anyone have the models to port into gmod.
Well that's a shame, they're very good looking models. Unless he ports them himself, guess there's no chance of a release.

Well, I've made my mind up and I have picked Blender as my weapon of choice.
First, I've made a VERY simple table, then I decompiled Link's Sonic into the editor. Just need to get some more experience into modeling and I'll figure out what to do with it.

Hi. I've been playing around with Link's Sonic in Blender and I have a few questions to ask:
1. Is it possible to delete a part of a model and 'stitch' it up?

2. How do I import another model from a .blend file into the one I'm working on?

1.it is but it's more of a complicated process of fixing the UV mapping afterwards
2. it's through something called "append" in the file tab
