No no I am not.
I had to dig around to get an iso of unleashed (I do own the game so it's fine I always make sure I get the game first before looking for it's disc image) The only sad thing is the model importer for generations can't import the unleashed npcs without A) Ruining the uv mapping and B) making the models look like crap when rigged.
Sorry for late reply. It just seemed that you were toying with Unleashed stuff aswell.
Link who ported the Unleashed Models, made a custom of classic amy. However, its off-scale with the real classic models, since it was made before Sonic Generations was revealed to the public. http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=119899
I am trying to make a reskin/reshaping of Classic Amy.
HOWEVER, I will not distribute this on download websites to protect Link's credibility because
he spent a load of work on it and done a brilliant job on it!
Um... there was no Modern Metal Sonic in Generations, just classic.
I think you mean Modern Sonic and Tails, just with more facial possibility.
What I meant to say was the modern metal sonic in the generations PACK was ported from sonic 4. Sorry for the confusion

Yeah i saw pictures of it before, thats why i was asking if anyone was considering it.
I hope for a generations Modern Sonic soon.
I hope for a generations Modern Sonic soon.
Isn't that the ONLY modern generations model we have right now? Not counting metal sonic because he's technically not from Generations.

Modern Eggman and his robots, and Knuckles
Modern Eggman and his robots, and Knuckles
Oh, yeah... I was thinking about the lack of a classic Tails I guess.
Oh, yeah... I was thinking about the lack of a classic Tails I guess.
Apoc's pack also has Classic Tails. It just currently doesn't have Modern Sonic/Tails/Amy.
why are sonic's shoes so shiny?
has anyone ever thought of doing a jet the hawk model from brawl. I know he's in a default pose for his trophy but he's a more recent model
Was there ever any interest in porting things from Sonic 4 episode 2? Honestly, the models in it are really nice.
If I could rip from it, you'd be seeing the badniks from ep2.
Heey, what happpen with the G.U.N Truck? http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1158054 the link in mediafire is broken
So far the only problem I'm having with the new importer is that the models become freakishly tiny.
I've had some luck using a tool called DX Ripper (not to be mistaken for 3D Ripper DX) to rip from Episode 2:

You can find out more about it in this thread: http://www.spriters-resource.com/community/showthread.php?tid=20896
I'm not sure if it rips everything, but it's worth a shot.
looks like it can rip what I want though. Now, is there a 3ds max 9 plugin to import the rips?
No, but theres a script you can use for Noesis that can import the .rip's and export them. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7stlpd4qvkq3096/vlT0RyD6Bp/fmt_dxripper_rip.py
Just put it in noesis/plugins/python

Also, if you're having a hard time finding the model you're looking for, look in the _ripper folder for textures. Find the texture of your model and look at the name of the .bmp,
I was looking for Sonic, so his model should be somewhere in the "mesh0008.rip" range.
Is there any way to fix the scaling that the max script uses to import the Sonic Generations models? I'd like it if they weren't an inch in size compared to their older script's porting.
Edit: Never mind I just had to go into the script file and uncomment the last bit
Edit edit: So that people don't have to do so themselves I took the liberty of packaging the max script for those who want proper sized models and not ones an inch in size

oh god that picture is disturbing.
cool, now I don't have to manually resize. though, that will reduce the amount of wrong sized extras I release

you're welcome ^^ from what I understand from the SR topic they purposely commented it out for level scaling or something like that.

Sonic Generations uses meters for it's scaling units. Sonic is about 1m tall or 3ft.

I could show a size comparison if you'd like. Of what the new importer does compared to the slightly modified one. when I say inch I mean the model size upon import compared to the old one. Sonic literally is an INCH in size compared to what the importer I used does normally.

Looking awesome!!!
So... no Shadow and Silver?
How's everyone enjoying Garry's Mod 13 Beta?
So... no Shadow and Silver?
Who ever said that?
We have to get Silver eventually because he's such a hilarious character.
So... no Shadow and Silver?
Its no use.

The old script didn't use the size Generations uses as far as I know. That small size is Sonic's actual model size, I think they just scale all the game's model by 3.
