Hey apoc, just a quick question... are you planning on adding 3ds specific models to your generations pack?(like big arms for example)

The 3ds models wouldn't look well considering they are made for a tiny screen [editline]31st October 2012[/editline] By the way Apoc, next pack idea: Adventure 2, as in Amy, Shadow, Rouge and the Gun robots
I guess I'm gonna have to give it the Mario treatment where each model has 5 sizes to choose from. Also, for the record I didn't change any of the heights at all, they're all the same heights as ripped from the game. Once I scaled Sonic correctly the rest all matched up properly. And now looking back, Sonic changes sizes throughout the game. In the scenes Classic Sonic is visibly smaller than Modern Sonic, but side-by-side, the difference in height is negligible. I blame SEGA.
Having multiple size options would be fantastic. It really was SEGAs fault for being pretty inconsistent with his height in generations. I mean, when they originally came up with the heights for sonic (modern and classic) I'm pretty sure they didn't have any idea that they would both actually be put side by side in a video game. So it makes sense that when Generations came out, they would have to do some size adjustments so they look right standing next to each other in cut scenes. With all that aside, i love the models. Are you by any chance planning on porting the other characters as well? Specifically Shadow or Silver, seeing as the only good shadow and silver models at the moment are links M&S Shadow and that out dated 06' Silver. both which have no face posing what-so-ever.
I subscribed to workshop but it don't download them DX Also, is it possible to get a mirror for download and use them in source filmmaker?
You have to run the game to get them to download. They're packed in a .gma file
I know but how to extract those gma files?
I know but how to extract those gma files?
Try this: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1173875&p=38186022&viewfull=1#post38186022
But first of all I still need to download apochedgie's models but garry's mod still doesn't download them!
But first of all I need to download apochedgie's models but garry's mod still doesn't download them!
Are you trying to run the beta or the actual?
Are you trying to run the beta or the actual?
The beta, obviously
The beta, obviously
Go to the actual one then. Gmod 13's out of beta
Oh >_<' Thank you
Oh >_<' Thank you
no problem :v:

Love the models, Apoc! You got the front page of the Garry's Mod workshop! BTW if Shadow were to be included, which section would he be included in: hero or dark? lol

So any chance Sonic colors maps, bosses and stuff being ported to gmod? I would like to pose pics like this.
If I knew the method of making "model" maps (using the model files, with collisions for the playable areas) and if I even knew how to make maps in the first place I would probably try porting some areas.
If I knew the method of making "model" maps (using the model files, with collisions for the playable areas) and if I even knew how to make maps in the first place I would probably try porting some areas.
Well Apparently models resource has the maps for colors. and some other stuff too.
Dark, going by SA2 logic which I named the packs after.
Despite saving the world 3 times? (not counting Sonic 06 because that never happened)
A couple things. For starters, for anyone that is interested I cracked open the files from generations, I have level textures, models not on models resource like Rouge and Silver, and btw I tried to make a seaside hill map in hammer a while ago, didn't really work so instead I retextured all the mario blocks for textures from seaside hill and speed highway. Anyway, porting levels might be difficult considering the size of the levels, It would probably crash gmod
I love these models.
might be a dumb question but has any done the egg carrier not as map but as prop?
might be a dumb question but has any done the egg carrier not as map but as prop?
I have but I'm no modeling expert so when it came as a prop the model was invisible and very tiny. Also the textures can't be exported in 3ds max because there are too many textures.
