It looks good but the texture is very noisy for some reason and it could probably use some ambient light baking.

That tape on the grip is mighty yellow. I don't usually put my urine-soaked tape on my guns unless it's an international holiday.

And the way the axe is attached seems like it'd just twist to the side if you tried to hit anything with it since there's nothing to stop it from rotating to either side, but those are both model things.
The texture looks great, the wood looks a little orange to me but i guess that's just personal preference.

The wood does look pretty neat compared to how wrecked the metal is, you could make it more roughed up.
Maybe make the 'dead by dawn' text look as if it was scratched in or written on with pen rather than neatly ingraved?

The scratches/wear around where the chamber pops up looks very uniform and detracts too much from the overall value of the metal texture. Other than that I'd say the material definition is pretty solid.
yeah I guess you're right. it's heavily concentrated around there because i figured that's the area that would get the most wear and tear from being constantly reloaded, snapping open and closed.
True, however I think it might benefit from being more subtle (the sides wouldn't really get worn from cracking it open).
