I've adapted Squiddy's Riglink hologram for my own use, enjoy these hologram images.

It still bothers me there's not enough edges on that plunger.

Basically just a test to see if I could pull it off without using any major texture help and just baking/hand painting it all. Some obvious seams and stuff but it was made quickly as a proof-of-concept. More to come!

You've got some wavyness of the normals on the edges of the cylinders. Also, the lit one looks pretty fake with those clear lit strokes and what looks like bevel and emboss. I like the charred one though. Keep them coming. :)

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but anyhow, how would I go about doing a realistic candle light effect for source?
Probably either by using a sprite or a particle system.
Arcade machines ingame and trying out a blacklight effect. There are still more variations to come of this model.
EDIT:
Updated with new skins, still want to do more. Also these all make respective sound effects while your near them.

So I went ahead and made my first animated sprite..

Fewes, you need to make the dark areas sharper and not so wide open. The way it looks like now is like dents in metal and not cracks in wood. Also only the bottom of the logs should be glowing.

Notice how the tops of the logs are darker then the bottom.

That's one pretty gun.
There is one issue with the revolver though. The cylinder's chambers and the barrel don't seem to actually line up :v:
Or maybe it's the angle, dunno.
