[t]http://puu.sh/1CsaN[/t] modelling this for an arma 2 WW1 mod :-) http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?117126-WW1-Mod-ArmA-2-CO/page1
Looks like the edges of the wings have way too many polys. You've got like 4 rows of polys when, from what I can see, you'll only need one. Try to minimize them as much as you can and save them for areas that'll need them later.

The handle looks like a slender potato.
I am not very good at modelling or rendering yet Edit: I should mention it's WIP, so the feet aren't done. Also this method of getting a wireframe over the regular model is retarded, I can't believe there isn't a better one.
more of a texture based post, iv'e been working on some 1960's era Israeli's i still got some kinks to iron out..
Textures look great, although a little shiny. The crotches on those models seem to be way too low, though, it's like their pants are falling down.
that's true they have some baggy fucking pants
Here’s a little something I’ve been working on and off the last year or so. I’m in the process of retopologizing and UVing it. I'm finally going to finish this friggen thing!
Very nice, hell I'd like a copy of it when you are done for a little project I am working on. One comment thought - shouldn't it say .50 CAL instead of 50. CAL on the slide? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uR5jufwSqm8

Threw this together as a security guard hand model for Black Mesa.
It's a tank that screams FEAR ME
TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK
Reminds me of those little paper tanks that had firecrackers in them. You'd light the fuse and when it burned down it'd start shooting a gout of sparks out the end of the gun barrel then make a bang when it reached the end.

looks like a med tank from advance wars

There's no point even trying anymore if this is what we have to compete with. It's impossible for us to top this.
It's a tank that screams FEAR ME
Is that a little hole with cardboard corrugation? That owns [editline]24th December 2012[/editline] also just thought of this. personally I would lessen the amount of AO in the texture. right now it's kinda overbearing and takes away from the painterly feel of the rest of it. +the seam that you have going down the middle on the top part and the seam on the corner on the same top part idk tank terms
It's a tank that screams FEAR ME
Is that from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker?
Something that was worked on earlier this year. The exterior textures aren't the best, but whatever. (Cockpit is not 100% accurate I believe, as there are not many shots of it)

Damn, I am really struggling with UVW unmapping. Every tutorial I follow just UVW unwraps a simple box which obviously is not the same as unwrapping a 6000 poly vehicle! I am getting to the point in which my modelling skills are good but the only technique I know how to UVW unwrap is by doing a normal unwrap "box" which is crap, if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be so grateful. [t]http://i.imgur.com/tIOIW.png[/t] example of one of my UVW maps :'( [t]http://i.imgur.com/CIbdw.png[/t] This one I tried stitching but it turned out so messy and so many pieces I was pulling my hair out. Anyway some content, working on a prototype ww1 british heavy tank "the flying elephant" [t]http://puu.sh/1FboY[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/1Fbqj[/t] Looks like a pretty crap model right? well the real thing was pretty simple
