Because they are not done, and will never be done (by BtZ), because he moved on with his life and just leave this thread alone to die or contribute, but give BtZ a break, okay? Well at least we can hope that somebody in future will pick this up because now we have a surplus of German tanks and almost nothing for them to fight besides who knows how many Sherman and T-34 tank models that have been released over the years.

But there are people who have these models, why do not they put them in the universal access?

Probably because they are either unfinished and abandoned (like Trek stated), or others have taken over and are either not done tweaking the models or just not releasing them publicly.

If i could convert the models, I wouldn't mind taking a shot at some of the tanks nobody's ported yet. There's no way in hell i'd ever be able to do all of them, though. Not without spending an entire year on it, at least. It's no wonder BTZ stopped with so many tanks in the game and so many being added since he started.

As much as i might like to port some of the tanks, I currently can't. I don't have the tools to extract and convert the models from the game to a format i can use. If anyone has access to the necessary tools and feels like extracting & converting a bunch of the models for me then i'd be totally up for converting them for gmod, but it'd probably be worth looking at the tank roster and picking out a bunch that are worth doing first.

So Trek was able to help me out, here's a small preview of things to come. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9988278/ports/misc/WOT/JAP_ChiNu_1.jpg[/t] I'm going to be doing a small selection of tanks from each country, mostly the ones that were actually produced to some extent and weren't just prototypes they made one of then left in a ditch somewhere. I'm also not going to be re-doing anything BTZ or anyone else who's ported WOT stuff has already done, either. I have a list written up for the Soviet, US, Japanese, and Chinese tanks i'm going to be doing and some vague idea of the British tanks, but if anyone has any suggestions for French or German stuff then let me know and i'll take them into consideration.

Japan tanks from new update?

IMO, the only French tanks that haven't been ported and really saw enough service to warrant porting were the H35, the Renault FT and the S35 (which for some reason is only available to the Germans in game). Maybe the ARL-44, but that's pushing it.

The Chi-Nu is done. The hull MG is missing but i know why so it's an easy fix. It's not the best interior and the textures aren't great, but for the purpose of making the hatches openable and seeing inside a little it works alright.

The T-34 is kind of an uncertainty because the RO2 version has already been ported and is far better, the only thing making me consider it is the T34/76 turret, but i might not bother with it at all.

I didn't plan on doing that because it was one of the tanks that was too late for WW2 and too early to really do anything else. I'm only trying to do stuff they'll be useful for people doing WW2 or Cold War poses. I've updated the list after having a quick look through the thread at what BTZ and other people have already done.
