I wouldn't mind that too much, unless the above models have face-posing. And I think some Tantive 4 Style Rebels would be fantastic.
It doesn't have faceposing, It was made for CS:S as a t_leet replacement for Star Wars: Spec-Ops
Nice to see some rebels :buddy:
It only works if the server has "sv_consistency 0"
Wouldn't it make more sense if it was a CT instead of a T?
Wouldn't it make more sense if it was a CT instead of a T?
If you think about it, no.
Wouldn't it make more sense if it was a CT instead of a T?
You do know that the rebels are technically terrorists right?
You do know that the rebels are technically terrorists right?
True I haven't seen Star Wars in ages
Terrorists, plotting to overthrow the good empire!
So, any new updates. How's Vader going by the way.
http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=98299 rig those into drivable or flyable ships pl0x?
No, ask Sakarias88. He sent me a PM a while ago about using the landspeeder and speeder bike in a vehicle thing.
Commandos are done. The MP Commandos have ALL of the original attachments as bodygroups.
Cool beans man.
Very nice job on the textures.
Damn, they look so awesome for a game that is 5 years old, Commandos was way ahead of the other games when it came out.
SGG I notices when browsing You Tube that you made a DC-15 Blaster SWEP is that fully made yet ? PS. those commandos look pretty friggen uber
Good job on the commandos there. Glad you managed to get the unused commando textures too, like the white commando, boss, and the 2 bonus MP textures. Can't wait for the release. I hope there'll be playermodels too. One question though: will the commandos have their MP bodygroups, like the rangefinder and pauldron? That'd be awesome for variation. It'd be nice to have it so that we could customise them a bit, like we can in the original game. On another note, I saw you're trying to make SNPCs of these guys. But, you've given all the characters so far ALL the animations of combine soldiers, male rebels and metrocops. (and maybe even more!.) This is good, as it gives loads of animations to choose from, but it means that you've got multiple animations, like those for idle and shooting. This is bad, as if you get them to use these animations, for example by using model manipulator to put it on a combine npc, they cycle through these different animations infinitely. It's really annoying. So my question is, how are you going to get round this problem for the SNPCs? The only way I can think of it is recompiling all the models to not use all these animations at once (which I'm guessing you did by using $includemodel for combine, cops etc...) and instead do it by picking and choosing the individual animations you want, and either making your own animation file with that or putting them into each model. Either that or some 'magic' method in the lua for the SNPCs to single out these identically named animations somehow. Meh, it's a bit confusing, and kind of guess work, but hopefully you'll get the gist of what I'm saying. I just hope you're not gonna have to re-release all the models to fix those animations for the SNPCs, but if it's the only way to get SNPCs, it'll be worth it.
Glad you managed to get the unused commando textures too, like the white commando.
The white Commando was used in the very beginning of the game...
Let's talk about this. Fully rigged and ragdolled. The commandos are still a WIP but that thing was a quick rig I did in an hour.
Rigged and ragdolled eh? If you're interested Shotgunner, I could give it custom animations so it could be used as a dynamic prop, or SNPC (or INPC if no one will make an SNPC)
The white Commando was used in the very beginning of the game... You can't read, can you.
Hey Hey, still valid questions there. And OK, I forgot about the white commando being used at the VERY start on the helmet and on the training commandos etc.. I always skip the Kamino part anyway, so surely I can be excused from that? Still, as far as I know, the other 3 mentioned are still unused. As for asking about bodygroups, well, I presumed when you said the original bodygroups you meant the ones on the original squad, not all the MP ones. I take it those are included as well then. Still, I was only asking/checking, no need to have a go at me. Anyway, can you provide any insight on my q. about the SNPCs? As I said, at the moment the models are really annoying when you turn them into NPCs, so just asking about them.

Do you guys think I should make an SVN for the Lua portion of the models? That way I can update them frequently if there are any problems. Besides, the weapons, let alone the SNPCs are far from release worthy.

Besides, the weapons, let alone the SNPCs are far from release worthy.
I suppose an SVN could do the trick, and it'd probably help you with bugfixing, but I'd say that comes after modelling for now. Although I suppose you could make a mega SVN for all your stuff, including the models, like they did in the Dr.Who thread (well, they have done), but then again that might be too much hassle or something. Meh, any SVN would probably be useful and keep the hungry masses at bay for a while.
Sure, knock yourself out, a svn is ok with me.
try it out, you'll need the stuff on the front page if you want it to work. http://starwarsmodelssvn.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
Awesome new stuff, defiantly getting these when I get home. My friend is going to love you for the saber
Shit, I forgot to add the glow code from the glowstick on the saber. HunteR4708, said I could implement his code into the sabers if I gave proper credits.
I just finished rigging the Spider Droid.
Looks great.
Now that's just plain awesome. Is that the one from RC btw? As I haven't seen a spider as good as that anywhere in any JK:JA mods. Of course, now we need some republic stuff like an AT-TE to finish the job. Nice to see you got up the svn. Got my download.
