Nice Hoth trooper. I would have just said to port that shit from SWBF2 but the player models are not the greatest.. At least the skins for the character faces aren't.

Sorry for the lack of updates from me, as you probably know, I've taken a break from Star Wars models because I've gone back to the [url=http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=738169]Goldsource to Source thread[/url]. I do have some good news though, I've gone back and revised the textures for the Stormtroopers. [img]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Stormtrooper_new.jpg[/img] I fixed to normal maps so the armor is now smooth. In addition to phong that was already there, the trooper now has envmaps and rimlighting. I haven't tested it ingame, but it looks good in modelviewer. I'm going to do the same thing for the clone troopers, and I'm also going to try to optimize them plus add more troopers.

Are there really any troopers left to add?

Is it possible to take a texture piece/sample from a model? Would be cool if you can take the camouflage from Grees legs/wrists and try to skin a storm trooper with it. It would be awesome to have a camouflauged ST.

I think the Storm Troopers suit had better technology, they didn't need visors. Which is probably why they're rarely seen with them.
