Just a question, but is there going to a bodygroup for the hand-blaster that you see the SBDs use in the movies?

As far as I know the SBD model from RC which is what he's ported didn't have that as an option, so I doubt it. Would be a nice surprise though, but the fact that this model is being worked on is epic enough in my opinion. That model had better get released!

It's tue, it doesn't have the arm blaster, only the OP cannon arm.
Why wouldn't it be released though, it pretty much requires no work to be put into it.
No need for eyeposing, face flexes, or special attachments. It's pretty much done except for the finger posing, hitboxes, and phymodel.
The only game in which Super Battle Droids were truly badass...Republic Commando.

Oh god oh god oh god
The RC models are finally out!!!
Mind if i ask, is there any model in Gmod that resembles a Jedi? I need one for a pose I wanna do :P
Anyway, meanwhile i will flood the SS & Movies Section with RC poses. Thanks SSG!
Edit;
Made a quickie, will do something cooler later.

Nice job man :D, I love star wars.. call me a geek all you want. :P
Shotgunguy, you should make a really good Republic Gunship since all the other ones out there are crappy.

Well right now, I am seeing the need for more Separatists/CIS models to counter all these new clone models. But Shotgunguy probably has his own plans for future releases.( Although personally I wouldn't mind seeing the AT-TE model from Republic Commandos, so far the AT-TE has became my one of my favorite vehicles in Star Wars)
He's working on the vehicle collisions.

Well, there's 5 types of Battledroids out at the moment.
I'll be releasing the RC Battledroid and the Super battledroid, and then the Droideka relatively soon. maybe...
Ryan7259's CIS vehicles are out there too.
One last thing about the RC models; Boss looks to be missing his custom shoulder armor. I didn't see it as a bodygroup thing either. It is in the squad equipment texture file though.
Sorry again for confusing your RC pack with someone elses.

Hmm, I believe you're right, but there's nothing that I can do about it right now. I've packed up my main computer and all my important belongings because I'm moving to Pittsburgh tomorrow morning for college. I'm not sure how big of a delay this will put on the progress of models. But I do know that I might pick up some new modeling skills because I'm heading there for Game Art & Design.
So, the next time I post, I'll be a college boy.
Heh... Lucky... I've been dieing to get in one those classes.
Now we need someone to do KOTOR
I heard Plasmid is porting models from KOTOR II, but I haven't heard much about it since his last post on his WIP thread.
I can do some KOTOR models if I can find some tools...
What ShotgunGuy49 has done is awesome. Beyond awesome. We just need more Jedi though.
I can do some KOTOR models if I can find some tools...
Search for KotorTool and NWmax.
Could someone rip the gunship from TFU II, the one that you face on the train?
I think it's callled Nemesis.
I can do some KOTOR models if I can find some tools...
Kotor models as well? :O I have died and ended up in star wars/gmod heaven :P.. since I have wanted some old sith troopers :)
Could anyone do Ahsoka from the Clone Wars?
Stop asking for models from games I don't have. Go ask in the Requests section.
Trainguy, instead of asking in other people's release threads and WIP threads, why don't you go make threads in the request section instead? Unless people are taking requests and are willing to do the things you request, you're just wasting your time asking anywhere else.
Put together a good request with images and the like, and make a new thread in the request section. If anyone is interested in doing it, then they will.
You can't even get the Ahsoka model unless you rip it anyways.

well technically they weren't asking you, because your name isn't someone or anyone/anybody. they were asking someone who does have the games to port them.
despite you and SZK being correct, saying "go ask in the requests section", or "why don't you make a request thread instead of requesting in a release thread", don't assume everything is about you.
I dunno why you called me dumb I was responding to some one else's post they said they would make them if they could, I wasn't requesting em I was just being generous if he would be willing to make em(not shotgunguy)

Your point is definitely valid, yet, while I know it doesn't say it in the title, this is ShotGunGuy's (and technically nayr7259's, if you read the first post) thread, and is dedicated mostly to his model releases from what I've gathered.
All it takes is a little lurking on the first page and a little reading to see something like that.
And trainguy has done similar things in several threads besides this. I'm just offering him some advice. I'm trying to better the community, not worsen, destroy, or be an asshole to it.

And in a situation like this, for future reference, if you post a response to someone else's post that is directly above yours, only to find that there's been another post in between them while you were typing, you can hit the reply button in the bottom left of the post you were responding to, copy the whole thing, and then edit your post and paste it in above your text. Done. Now people know what you were responding to.
This doesn't usually need to apply for the first post of a thread. Most people know you're responding or assume you're responding to the first post anyway. I mean, in the long run, a lot of it is just common sense.

I guess I will just add a quote from it as an edit then :P
Thanks for not acting like a dick and saying something like "GO MAKE IT YOURSELF FAG LOL"
