I guess if they arent on the first page, nobody as done them yet.
Well, thx you
does this look low poly to you by the way this was suppose to be a surprise but I decided to reveal the long lost Leia models note the Carrie Fisher face
I can agree with the poly conditions but still it's not bad for a JK 2 Model. Don't know whether it was ported or self made but either way- I like it.
not mine but he suits well
why do you keep showing screenshots of JKA instead of something actually put in gmod?
why do you keep showing screenshots of JKA instead of something actually put in gmod?
Does it matter? I was showing a good model off in case someone wanted to port it
Does it matter? I was showing a good model off in case someone wanted to port it
in that case show a thumbnail link to model and email to the author (hapslash) so someone can ask permission to port his work. here ill do the work for you http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/HS_Anakin_Skywalker;70767 E-Mail : slash_happy@yahoo.com
I thought he said somewhere that we can port if we give him credit.

Get it right Also Hapslash isn't around anymore, so what's the point of getting ahold of him
That's not Hapslash's model, it's Toshi's. Get it right
alright then post a link to it :/ honestly im not getting the point of what your doing to help in this thread, you post ONLY screenshots of models you are "working on" but you can't rig and it isnt really hard to get the models out of JKA with rigging intact, simply use noesis. so right now your just showing pictures from a game and thats about it.

I know how to use Noesis, yet you bring up old shit from like 2 months ago just to start a fight.

One simply can download them here http://www.invision-games.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=223 Nuff said
Listen up asshats. If you want to use these models in your mod or shitty RP server, ask me first. and don't even bother asking me if you could put them in a pack, I'm only going to say "no"
You think there could've been an another way to express yourself? Unless you are trying to look like an asshole...
By the way, images in the first post are broken.
You think there could've been an another way to express yourself? Unless you are trying to look like an asshole...
funny thing is he acts like he made these models and all he did was rig and convert them over, he didn't spend the hours and hours making these great models like neomarz did on the clones or anyone else that did that work, which gives him no rights to them all he did was modify them for gmod, that's what kinda sickens me about this community we port game developers work that they spent hours and hours and hours on and in the end we turn around and say o give me credit and ask me first, all you did was modify it for another game and didn't spend the long hours making the whole model, that's why when i try to release stuff i've ripped from a game or something i try to give no strings attached cause i want people to have fun with it and what not cause i'm just a very nice guy like that

I wish I still had examples of stuff I've received in private messages just to show you how bad they can be. As for you Corra, It takes a good amount of time to get things properly converted to get a good quality model. I go through a lot of steps to make sure the models I release are working properly and make use of the newest features in Source. You have no idea how much trouble I'm going through to get these Republic Commando models ported. I'm going through each model, and compiling each one with working animations, except all of their animations are compiled into one .psa file. So I have to go through all of them in 3dsmax and separate them, write down the movement codes in the qc (if they that specific animation has any), and make sure it works in hlmv. I'm even going through the trouble of adding eyeposing and faceposing to models that can use it. It would be a little easier if the models weren't rotated to the side and are massive in size compared to source characters. So I need to do everything I said before about the animations and compile that, then decompile that model and then go back and do the face flexes just to make them work.
By the way, images in the first post are broken.
garrysmod.org doesn't like it when we hotlink images apparently.
I thought he said somewhere that we can port if we give him credit.
Hapslash did, Toshi didn't.
You sound like an ungrateful bastard to me. Who cares if he gives credit or not? I've only ever had that problem with goldsource models though. The Jedi Knight downloads section of gamefront is pretty good with providing authors though, at least on the things worth downloading anyway.
Corra Ashu, SOURCE is a lot more complicated than shitty Empire at War engine. SOURCE is designed for FPS games with physics and shit. EaW is an RTS game, so it doesn't contain ragdoll physics. So Shotgunguy has to do shitload of stuff more than you. Deal with it. And, roleplay community in GMod sucks dicks. Mostly.
You sound like an ungrateful bastard to me. Who cares if he gives credit or not? And, roleplay community in GMod sucks dicks. You serious? These low-goddamn-poly models are way easier to rig, even if I would rig every vertice manually. And this is completely different engine. EaW engine is desinged for big RTS maps, SOURCE was designed for close quaters and rooms inside buildings. Anyway, you can't say that it's easy to port models to SOURCE, and Shotgunguy is a dick by not giving the models to the RP fuckers which are't even kindly asking for them. To be honest, I would do same thing with my models. And about the way he told this to us: who gives a shit. Atop spamming the thread with this pointless discussion.
