Well maybe if you would... oh I don't know, READ SOME OF THE FUCKEN POSTS, maybe then you would find your answer. :eng101:

I'm not quite sure where to look for a ragdoll, but me personally I'm just after the models. But Shotgun could help you out. On the other hand he did say before that the models at Sci Fi 3D might be a bit too high poly for Gmod's engine. I'd have to see it for myself though.

the sci Fi 3d models are mostly just over smoothed models with badly done textures, you can find almost every model needed in either FU/or kinect star wars, if not then those sites might have it, but mostly they dont have stuff of value.

I can understand what you are saying to an extent but I am still having some trouble importing the Kinect models. I guess I am not doing the FBX import properly. Maybe I should try importing them into DAZ 3D that program has never given me trouble. I still wish there was a way to get the FU2 DLC models. I still haven't gotten a chance to test out my little theory. I have made it known in quite a few places that I want to try it but no one has sent me the files yet. I really don't have them anymore.

either convert the format to something else with noesis or update your FBX importer/exporter in max.

I already checked my importer, it's the latest version. I'm sure the models are fine. I'm thinking I'm not using the right method at this point.
7 new posts, and no new release.
How disappointing.

Bit rude of you
Yes well it's very frustrating to see such a plethora of posts on a very inactive thread only to find it's some banter going on.

part of those posts contained model resource, maybe you should learn to port so you wont think every 7 posts means a release
since its frustrating not having a release here help us out

Maybe you should help them out instead of being a tool about it
I found a Grievous model here http://models-resource.com/pc_computer/starwarsbattlefront2/ is from the game battlefront II

Good find Osymax. It's always good to get models from Battlefront 2 in my opinion. I know they are low poly but I plan to use them for background fill in my projects. I just wish the Models Rescource had a much larger selection of battlefront 2 models to work with.
Can someone fingerpose and eyepose this

General question, does he have only 2 arms or is he body grouped with the 4 fours too?

Although it looks like two hands, it's actually 4. If I remember correctly, Grievous could fuse both arms on each side of his body into one, thus making it so he appeared to have either 2 arms or 4 arms at any given time.
The way that particular model is set up though, it's the 2-arm form.

Yeah, the model he has is two armed and cannot be body-grouped, This model is a different but just modeled with two more arms
I thought I would share this with all of you. Here is a link to a user on Google 3D Warehouse who has also ported TFU1 Models. I found a few NPC's there that I seriously thought couldn't be ported like, Mon Mothma for instance. They're in Google sketchup format so you'll need the latest versions of 3DS MAX (don't know if Milkshape 3D or Noesis recognizes that format) to port them into Gmod but here you all go. :)

It has only 2 arms and are not fingerposable :(
God dammit, where is Obi-Wan. I can't wait much longer
Shotgunguy, are you able to add the kind of dissmemberments like in JK and JKJA, I remember I was able to cut every character in half, arms or head.

Maybe, I'm not entirely sure to be honest. I think there was an option to import the dismemberment meshes. I'll take a look at it when I'm done with my modeling homework.
Thanks alot. Those were some good days dismembering all those imp officers and stormtroopers.
I wonder if it is possible to port from the Wii Version of SWTFU. If that is the case then maybe porting the Han Solo model from the SWTFU2 Endor DLC won't even be necessary. I've seen a list of names of the playable characters from the SWTFU PSP, PS2, Wii versions and among them are a few that I would love to have-even though Han and Lando are in the Kinect Star Wars models pack. They are of course Han (in SWTFU Wii it's episode 4 Han and that's particularly what I am after), Assajj Ventress, Aayla Secura, Mara Jade, Darth Phobos, Yavin Luke. Don't know if the Leia model from the Wii version is seen in ingame. It would be cool if that could be found out. I know the PS3, PC and Xbox models are higher poly than the Wii models but with some cases not by much, to be honest-in my case for the moment Poly doesn't matter. I'm putting JKA Models in the same image as TFU Models.
Could someone grab the TIE Bomber from JKA?
porting from the wii version is simple. just use game assassin, its just that the wii models look awful. keep in mine a wii game and a xbox games models will never come close in poly count
not when the xbox limit is around 14 to 20K and the wii limit is far below that I don't want to say exact number cause im sure someone can prove me wrong on certain cases. but most cases a wii model is 9K at the most....
or below.

I would do it myself but I don't have the wii version for the moment. And I'm not even saying I want all of those models. I only want the few that aren't in the XBOX, PS3, PC Version. I can agree with what you are saying about the Poly differences but I can fix them up.
And the other thing is, if I went looking for it myself, I've been hit with ill luck when it comes to ISO extraction lately, that by the time I finally get my hands on the ISO someone will have already ported those TFU Models.
Okay I am going to share a fan made project with you all that I found and thought it would be a good choice for you all.
Question are there any Poser/DAZ 3D users?
This is a poser/DAZ hair-morph of Princess Leia's bun hairdo. There used to be a great Leia head morph on this site but it's not there now sadly. Shame, the user had also made great poser morphs of Han Luke and Gov Tarkin. Anyway enough ranting here is the link to the Hair morph.
