All you need are the right ACTs and it should work out fine. Replacements don't work because of hitboxes and consistency stuff, which is usually why people use Valve biped skeleton for player models and such.
Applies to all scripted models (NPCs, etc.).

Ofcourse it can be done it just takes along time and someone with the skill to do it ^^ (who are few and far between)

just saw someone here taking the screencapture of the exosuit from the movies, so i wanted to help finding more material, then stumbled upon all the concept material on these sites so then it helps much more to people designing all other stuff also. its a nice project, and i see some lovely models :D

I noticed this too. The models are done, why not release them now and the sweps later? At least all us posers would be able to have some fun (it's all we would do with the Arc gun if it was a swep as well. We might dick around with it for a few minutes before we went and made some awesome pose)

I figured out why the eyes are so odd looking!
This is probably late and no, I didn't look back a few pages.
The eyelids are too open. Right now, they're in a constant shocked expression. Move the eyelids closer together and the eyes will be more normal. Also, where are the mouth tendrils?
Kind of related- The "alien pitbull" looks a LOT like an infection form flood from Halo.

The anims are custom, so he could make it hold it however he liked ^^

It's more like an alien 'rat' in that they were rodents living on the ship when they got stranded on Earth
