slowly getting there... gravgun is current wip (gotta get the hands lined up, and the physgun doesn't work in hlmv if you load it as a weapon for some reason, so it's taking longer)

Yeah this project really feels dead now. It's a massive shame because the only model/skin release was my MNU guys and their vehicles and they have nothing to fight against.

I'm still working on the playermodel. Just cause I haven't given updates in a few days doesn't mean I stopped.
As for the sweps, I'd be willing to do v and w models for them (after I finish animating the prawn). Truthfully someone would still need to lua them, but whatever.

I've been working on a ton of other things. Shortlist: several machinima projects (class), learning XNA (class), coding XMPP stuff (HCI research), coding three different iPhone apps (job, job, and job), along with swim practice and attending lectures.
...[i]however[/i], I got a ton of work done on a lot of those today, so I told them to fuck off for a while and got some work in on this.

Seriously unfinished, obviously. Next steps are probably some matrix trickery to make the body disappear from the waist up before the entire thing vanishes, as well as some individual gore-chunk particles to add some detail to the goop.
edit - a bit more technical info: Behind the scenes, this effect is pretty nifty. It takes a list of bone names, which can be arranged hierarchically so's to have it spawn particles from intermediate points - between elbow and shoulder, for instance. Once I deal with the model really obviously sticking through the particles, this has the potential to look pretty cool I think.
