I'm testing the files using different stride values..but with no great results atm.[/QUOTE] like me, the.edata files are jut impossile to extract ^^ and for the xbox one..i just have no clue to extract them... with the last script there's only the body without hands and head... i think for the stride value there is only 24 and 32 which are working...i've already tryed all the rest... i spend a lot of time to try to compare the first script and the second, and i'm still trying to fuse them until i will be able to get the properties of the both...it just looks impossible ^^ but i keep trying.. I think if we want result, we will have to focus on the two scripts we have...it must be possible from them to get a working one.. EDITED AGAIN : Hey! To get the .wtp file, you just need to extract the .dtt file using the quickbms script used for extract the .dat!

I'm probably more well known just for my xnalara script, but I've done much more then that. I was expanding my knowledge learning reverse engineering from 2007 to present. And hence the ability that gave me the MGRR models. And I've never been shy about sharing knowledge, even in my time here in 2007 I had a topic to help people learn how to rip and port models. made a HUGE writeup and a video series. [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=542906[/url] Also I didn't go into hiding as much as I got permabanned.. of course the permaban was because I was running a private forum, and someone posted all of the private content here on facepunch... yeah I flipped shit and shutdown my site and flamed off here and got banned... people argued, since its the internet I had no right to keep gmod content private. and so that is why we have a HUGE group of haters here that are saying these things like mario's got butt hurt and went into hiding. there's more history behind things but we're talking six years ago, so its not really valid at this moment. Lets say however my attitude has not changed much; I feel if you feed a leecher, they'll keep leeching and they'll never stop eating off you. So I figure if I try to educate them, then they might learn a thing or two and stop leeching. Which is my biggest issue with you at the moment.
To sum up what everyone is saying, they expected models, not a tutorial. Now, let's get back on track.

Because he refused to just hand people the models? What does he get out of it? Respect from a bunch of random kids on the internet? Respect on the internet means jack shit. He put his time and effort into it, then released the tools so that people could do it themselves. people need to quit being lazy and do shit for themselves.

The scripts are fine, thats cool and all, no complaints, the only reason im talking about this is because he brought it back up.

You cannot blame me, this thread has gone in the directions of false hope, flaming, arguing, bickering about an immature (banned) user, and what seems like very little progress. I'm not one to rush, but I just wish we could stay on topic.
The guys working on getting the models are probably busy doing so. We already have a guy who has all the textures. Sounds like stuff is going pretty well so far.
In any case, any progress at all is very much appreciated. Let's just keep the bickering/heated discussions to a minimum.
Right. To be fair, though i shouldnt be saying it because it has a chance to dig it up, mariokart did bring it back up when he restated the abuse/igonrance thing, but yeah. So right now, the issue apparently is getting the models, so we should wait, im sure in a few days we'll be getting models by the dickload.
Patience is key. It may even be weeks, maybe months before we see all of those models extracted. But if there really is someone who has all of the textures, then that's all well and good.

I mean some models of chara , wep and ship (i think it was XD) which are not used in the demo. I suppose they are all present in the full game...don't worry. PS: i think that mgs4 skin for raiden should be already in the full game disk. In my opinion (cyborg ninja suite is a another story) dlc simply unlocks that costume like the other color variations of the raiden armour.
