EDIT: I managed to get it to work! But I can't seem to get Ninja Ripper to rip anything xD And I can't seem to get the alternate costumes to appear in the select screen like you did. How did you do that?
EDIT2: Managed to rip them, the save file I have doesn't seem to be working correctly and doesn't let me choose alternate costumes..

In cheat engine have you chosen "string" in "value type" before searching? And remember that you need to be in main menu while searching
