The sweps are progressing very well, and to Ekalektik_1, I have an alien atomizer from mothership zeta thanks to dakarun.
This will be awesome! Can't wait for this :) Hope you'll get someone who can make the animations just like in Fallout 3.

I disagree with some of the people on here saying Bethesda is shitty at modeling and textures (Just a clarification, they do suck at close up textures, but master shading) Actually, I just recently got an Xbox 360 ( My family aren't really fans of video games, and I got this Xbox for free from a friend) and Bought Fallout 3 for it. It came with HD cables, and I tried Fallout 3 on my Big screen/Wide screen tv on 720p HD. I would say that my favorite view models were from laser weapons. They looked realer than real, and very sharp looking, I didn't see any faults in the textures. The game looks really nice on 720p, mainly from a distance, close up world objects, of course, look bad, but generally, the game looks more good than bad This will probably get a lot of people trolling me, but 720p HD Xbox 360 games on my HD Widescreen TV looks a lot better than any PC game I've ever played. Keep working on these fallout sweps, hope to see them soon.
you plainly don't play many recent pc games then, aside from which 720p is fuckall resolution, i run 1920x1080 native on here and that's not all that much anymore, either. it's easy to fudge things to make them look good on lower resolution displays, which is why console gamers usually think they have the graphics edge (they don't). on the topic of bethesda's weapons, yes, they are shitty. the models aren't all that hot, but the textures and shader setups are just fucked. bethesda's school of thought is that making a weapon look used or worn means making it look like someone left it and a box of white chalk with a two-year-old for a few hours; they're scratched to hell in places where scratches don't even make sense, and as a result there's practically no material definition. the engine already fucks up most shader rigs (as genuinely talented people are having issues making their reskins look good in-engine when they look great rendered in max), but bethesda didn't even try. short story: yes, bethesda do blow donkeys at modelling and texturing. ask anyone who actually knows what they're doing (i.e. not the average gamer, who will think anything shiny with scratching on is the best ever) and they'll agree. it's too bad new vegas suffers from the same engine-related issues and screwy weapons, because otherwise it's a great game (much unlike fallout 3, hopefully bethesda will take the hint and fuck off, although most gaming reviewers are fucking retards and have been shitting on new vegas for not being fallout 3. this is why gaming is dying so fast, people).

I decided to give animating one last shot due to the high amount of downloads. Next up is the view model, but I will start on that tomorrow. Going to take my time though, mistake I made with my previous viewmodels is trying to do it in 1 day. And I guess you all know the result.

Though With the weapons that are currently out, Shouldn't Plasma rifle and gatling laser models be made to?

I just look at what could be fun/interesting to do.
