I released a pack using your models (found [url="http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=112293"]here[/url]) but I want to add more weapons. I'm far from being a competent lua coder but it's such fun making SWEPs out of your models (particularly energy weapons). Great work on the fatman by the way.
hay were is the link to this file the one i got had all the weps the same for the lazer and plasma guns
You know, it would be even better if we could get the Archimedes orbital laser from New Vegas. We have the Predator missile so orbital weapons are possible.
Fixed UVW mapping, did draw/holster animations. Only 2 animations left: Fire and Reload. Fire won't be 100% accurate because it uses a pole to launch it. However it's impossible for me to rig that pole in milkshape :(. But then agian I never noticed that pole in my many hours playing fallout 3, so hopefully most of the public won't aswell.

[QUOTE=kurisu7885;25702145]Well, the game kinda does have to run well.[/QUOTE] it's got nothing to do with performance. we have a phrase for this kind of thing. it's called "commercial quality". what that implies is it's quick and nasty, but it looks close enough that your average ripit-fuelled fps player won't notice the difference. on the other hand, those of us who are actually capable of deeper and more meaningful thought end up getting frustrated by all the fuckups.

Alright. I need some opinions on the fatman. It's done basically but I just want some opinoins before I release it. I'm pretty proud of it, the reload animation has to be one of my best ones yet. The animation is buggy, he doesn't hold it right, it's firing a laser which completely ruins it (yes, I know you're "not a scripter"), there's some crap floating behind it, the nuke disappears and when he folds down the side bit, it moves around and I can't even see a hinge.

well, it's on the same animations quality of the other sweps, but it's fine for me. all you have to make now is an epic explosion effect. nvm, i forgot you dont Lua D:

Alright, I created the mininuke prop so scripters have a projectile. Only thing left to do is get the damn thing to be transparent. Unfortunatly I don't know shit about alpha maps or whatever their called.

Working on alpha map, not going very smooth though. Can't find the right shader paramenters :(. As for progress on fatman, it's currently halted because I got 3 more exams till Thursday, with no breaks so I gotta keep on studying.
