ok sorry to ask but cant help being an arse :butt: is ther any necromorph rag dolls released casue i dont have the patience to go over 38 or so pages if it is realesed or any other ds model excluding the weapons pack and the patient or foster so please can some1 give me a link

do a search on garrys mod.org that will save you time in the future
I think I will take some time to edit the Necromorphs a bit, especially the Slasher could need a bit work.

Yes, there is. It works for Dead Space 1 and 2. But it would be senseless to use it for Dead Space 1. You can unpack the STR archives, but you can't import the GEO models from it. The script is made for the Dead Space 2 models only...

Oh, interesting. And how did you extract "Ishimura"? I find a pack of scripts, which contain script for extracting "STR" packs, but it didn't worked for me.

I did not unpacked the Ishimura, I ripped it from the game.
And yes, that's the correct unpacker. Does it show any errormessages for you?

No messages. Just black window, like in command line, shows for second, then nothing.

Ok, here we go. Five skins on the one model. Only one problem - after recompiling ragdoll spawning uder ground... No idea how to fix this problem. :\

Now I know about your problem with the STR unpacker:
You used "Gibbed.Visceral.UnpackSTR", but that's the wrong one. You have to use "Gibbed.Visceral.StrUnpack".
To the map:
I only made it for the screenshot. It's nothing special, just a 3D-Skybox with a starfield-model around it and a texture of Aegis VII from Dead Space.
And to the skins of the model:
Why did you dempiled the model? Just use a HEX-Editor like "PSPad" and hex the model. That's much easier.
Did the maxscripts get any better since a few months? I notice you guys are using my converted model as a base for the reskins/remodels, and that's totally cool. But I also see my hokey-ass thighpads that I whipped up in a matter of seconds because the script was importing things properly. That should probably be fixed.

Oh, why I must use hexing and copy/past five models and texteru packs when I can make one model with five skins and one texture pack.
Also this problem (with spawning) with security suit (not from DLC) too. Source SDK didn't show the suits, only when I go to the "Physics" window.
Also, I improve physics of the patrol suit.
Anyway, the map is good. Useful for making space screenshots.

These problems with the models are caused by the decompiler. You can't decompile the models and then perfectly recompile them. Even the decompile can mess up the model. Hexing the model is much easier and you don't risk to get a "crippled" model. :P
