Correct. M2 was WCIII.
Use MPQeditor to extract from the MPQ archives, and m3 importer to import the models into max.
Also yeah there's a high poly mutalisk from the escape scene and where they rescue Warfield.

i found them! they are located in the textures folder in the same archive, as .dds files. look for files that are named (nearly) the same as the model

indecently; those linadrai angels are from ut 2003 correct? they looked good enough that i thought they might be custom models from ut3 but i couldn't find them with google.
I have a Sarah Kerrigan model for fallout 3. It's a "costume outfit", it's user made. If you can port from FO3, then we have Kerrigan.
May as well just reskin Nova. That's all Blizz did. Lazy pricks.

As Nova and Kerrigan go, there's actually A black haired, blonde (nova) and red haired (kerrigan) versions of the same model in the files.
There's also obviously an infested kerrigan.
It would be nice, if someone ported the character models from the game. Well, if they have face posing it would be great.
