I really like this replacement, but, what I don't like so much, even though it does look nice, is making the combine's lenses.. see-through. I wouldn't mind so much if they actually still had their light glow to them. Does anyone know if it is possible to give them a real light effect? It'd be cool to see a dark room subtly glow with the combine's lenses... of course, only when they're close enough to things.
I suggest a form of iron sights be used. As well as a scope like zoom for the SMAW.

But honestly, I think the animations are horrible. (Too slow firing anim, pistol doesn't animate)

Well since i'm not sure what your having trouble with I will explain from the start. First you download the torrent and then get the zip file from torrenting it. Then extract the zip file into your ep2 folder which should be found here C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\...\half-life 2 episode two\ep2. Or if you don't want to do that then just grab the materials, models, and sound files and drop them in your ep2 folder. These only work in Episode 2 so don't try and put them into your Episode 1 or normal HL2 folders.
Which brings me to my question. Could anyone possibly make this for the normal HL2 because i'm totally in love with this pack and want to use it in mods I downloaded for the original HL2.
Need a re-upload elsewhere, Gmod.org uses torrents now :sigh:

i downloaded the files @ 800kbps which is much faster than what i used to get (~90kbps)

I had a secret way of downloading files off Gmod.org with my full speed.
Pretty simple really, although don't actually download what's in the link. Just some stupid admin fort thing I quickly found so I can demonstrate the process.

I don't know if it's already been pointed out, but the shotgun Combine Soldier skin doesn't work with the new mask.
Also, you should make the Metrocop mask see-through. You could put some random citizen's head in there.
I made the ar3 no scope, ar3c, and pistol into weapons so i can use them separately.
This is probably the best custom skins for Half-Life 2 I've seen yet. I plan on using these forever.

How would you modify these so they would work in Half Life 2? I'm not having much luck myself.
Well, I don't know how myself, but I installed them in the latest version of Fakefactory's Cinematic Mod, and they work fine. That's because it runs on the OB/Source07 engine.
which file do I delete in this pack to keep the normal combine soldier, I already have a skin I'm in luv with for that ^^
Unless it's a model, you won't have any problems. But if you want to keep your Combine looking normal, delete (under models) everything relating to Combine_Soldier and Combine_Super_Soldier.
EDIT: Been meaning to ask, does the Combine sniper have animations? I'd like to replace the soldiers with him.

Yes, It's just the soldier model, but with some light camouflage on.
The weapons are so cool, nice work.

Alright, thanks. I just couldn't tell. So many of the models I've gotten for replacements haven't been rigged right.
Looks great everything looks like valve made, but the ar3c looks too blocky to be a view model.
