I notice that the unsc crewmen are missing their texture. The ccurrently only have the engineering crew texture. also is there any chance of getting the semi trucks? im a moron :( i only just realized that one of the comments (from Civil) say that you need 3D's Max to get theese....man i HAD 3D's ma, but i got rid of it when i couldnt do anytihng usefull with it what do you have to do you convert these into gmod? if its not difficult i can try to get 3D's Max again and help out, if not, guss ill have to wait for the proffenials to do it

You dont use it, these are source files for max to be compiled/rigged etc to later be used it gmod. This is not an addon. The files are being worked on, if you want halo 3 models theres a bunch on .org.
Is anyone going to port a Brute? A more modern brute specifically. Like the one from Halo 3 with blue armor or gold?

Can't believe I haven't found this thread until now. Checking the post dates, this thread's over a year old. Anything new and exciting on this front? If I can get a hold of an FBX importer for Maya 2011 I'll try my hand at rigging the models with valve bipeds (just have to find proper tutorials). I suck at texturing though, are these models already with functioning textures? It'd also be interesting to mess with the weapons and try and make my first swep. Also, as a self-proclaimed Halo fanatic, and to clear up a year-old issue that nobody probably cares about now anyway, the main Halo games have been using the same engine (albeit heavily modified and upgraded each progressive installment) since Halo 2.
for the love of god, somebody needs to see this through. If I knew how to rig and all that I would do it myself.

Not so much that people have forgotten it, more like the halo wip thread was inexplicably in a state of perpetual flame war. Could never figure out what that was all about.
For the record, I DID try and port over the elites, but I think there's something wrong with the models because I had a lot of trouble especially with the faces.
