If you can help to rig these models, i don't mind giving you some more in return.

Haven't had the time to check it out yet been busy this week with work.
I could rig some models maybe. I did rig a Crash Twinsainty model but I lost the file, and I like to rig models just for fun. You can give me a model to rig to see what I can do if you want to.

Hmmm okay how about u send evil crash and another 2 models u want me to rig, and then wen I want mechs crash we can do the same thing here is my email address ets_nies@hotmail.com

Thats cool, i wonder if its possible to get the animations from the game?

Evil Crash and Dingodile have already been rigged, thanks to Ratchetmario. Not sure if Crash, Cortex and the other character have tho.
YouMadBrah? are you going to finish Koala Kong's twinsanity model still? i noticed he wasn't in the pictures with all those other models anymore? if you aren't going to finish Tiny or Koala Kong's twinsanity, i can remodel the backs, and maybe fix their uv maps if it's the same as models i ripped from previous ps2 games (only uv maps i have issues fixing at all with no progress is ps3 or 360)

yes i know this and have downloaded the files i just really cbf having to donwload the steam sdk and amillion other files to be able to conver garrys mod .mdl files into fbx to be able to mess around with :/
YouMadBrah i understand, but can you just upload the downoad of the Cortex model? Only the Cortex model, maiby in PM, i need of that model.
Sorry for the English.

well when cleaning up my computer I somehow accidently deleted the files but I could just get the crash twinsainty model from here and rig it. I know you already have it but its just to see what I can do with it. or you could send me a model to rig.

Animations are an impossibility, unless you know how to decrypt the game files.

Said this countless times now, i will do them in time. I do have a job and other things that take priority. Plus its not just a few polygons missing from the backs its a lot more so it's a great deal of hard work.

No, i'm not giving them out until they're rigged and on the workshop. If you can't be patient to just wait like everyone else, rip it yourself.

Sorry for the noise, I'll wait, a curiosity, with which program you exported the models from the ps2 emulator?
I think you did not send it but that's okay.
Hey YouMadBrah did you get the message I sent you with the fixed model
Just one question id like to ask, how long does it take to rip models, texture them and import them into ragdolls?
Just one question id like to ask, how long does it take to rip models, texture them and import them into ragdolls?
like 6-7 seconds
Just one question id like to ask, how long does it take to rip models, texture them and import them into ragdolls?
On everyone of the models i've ripped, it's massively scaled on the Y-Axis which is the first thing i correct then i delete the duplicate meshes that PCSX2 does for some reason. Once that's done I have to manually correct the face normals that are facing inwards, which is almost always around half of the faces on the model. Once that's done I weld all of the vertices to make the model one complete mesh instead of separate faces.
Then I move onto fixing the UV's, which involves scaling them down to fit onto the texture sheet, welding all the UV shells together as well as having to manually re-position almost every if not all vertex in the UV texture space so that it fits and looks correct on the model.
All of this takes a good few days work PER model and can sometimes take longer depending on the state of the model and how much needs to be done to it.
At the moment i'm going back through all of the models improving the texture mapping on older rips i did. Planning on doing Mecha and re-ripping Brio from the end of the game and then over time doing Tiny and Koala. For the moment that's all i'm doing for a while, as i've done way more than enough models than i planned to do originally and i want to take a break from doing this.

That's fine man. Take a break. you've done so much for us!
I was wondering do you still plan on getting the Spyro A Hero's Tail and Enter the Dragonfly models? If not I understand. Should we start a new thread for the Spyro models? what do you think?

lol clearly but dont the textures just snap straighonto the mesh??? what software are you using?
lol clearly but dont the textures just snap straighonto the mesh??? what software are you using?
I'm using 3DS Max 2012 and nope they don't at all. By the general positioning of the UV's i can guess where they go, but its a lot of work to fix them as the texturing is bad anyways. This just shows how badly they're mapped, this is Cortex's texture.

A lot of the models have 2+ texture sheets each, so it also takes some time figuring out which face has what texture applied to it as the models don't retain their material IDs.

Hmmm strange but 3ds max doesnt always place the textures on correctly, you could try and use a different 3d software and give it a go making sure to use the exact model ripped from the game and not one that has played around with or even exported with through 3ds max, anyway im sure ule figure it out :)best of luck

It's nothing to do with the 3D software, it's the way the emulator rips the files along with the god awful mapping in the first place.
Not really related to Twinsanity, but I thought you guys would be interested in this
I'm in the process of ripping Crunch from Wrath of Cortex

I managed to rip him in his bind pose and I just need to polish up the UV's and fix the normals.

rip him as bind pose? (T-posed) i'd say you're really good at this, like you did on others games.

Thanks guys. Anyone will be free to rig or do whatever with it.
Finished the UVs. They look a little iffy in some parts but that's how they look in game too. Well according to the GC model UVs anyway.
Just wanna make double check with you guys to see if I got the proportions correct before moving on to fix the normals.
