shouldnt these be done in a matter of hours? all it takes is scaling down UVs and the models are so low poly if you had to t pose them you wouldnt even need to rig it first.

Not exactly, the models are ripped with an aimless wavefront, which means the faces are a mixture between pointing inward and outward. That and nothing is welded, other things are skewed in size and proportion, and nothing comes out clean. Ever. UVs don't work as well as you think they do. (In this case.) They're not going to line up with the texture sheets as well as they should, it's the way they were originally textured. That and every time I tried to alter the UVs as is, Max would just give out and crash. There's more to this than you or anyone else thinks. It takes way longer to make these than a few hours. Plus I do other things, believe it or not. I'm ripping, fixing up, UV mapping, texturing, rigging, converting for Source and creating ragdolls by my fucking self. While being a college student on the side. That takes a while. No, I understand your curiosity, all good.

ahahah bro are you telling me of all people how long it takes? been porting for 5 years and modeling from scratch for 6. I know what it takes and I ripped from ps2 plenty of times, IM just wondering why it was taking You so long what exactly was up with them, I got my answer though :3

the warped mesh? just scale it by z correctly until its normal(doesnt always work but most of the time it does) Uvs, tricky but not hard, scale it down then fix the warped bits by verts. your making this out to be like its way more work then it really is.

To be perfectly frank yeah the ripping is rather easy, I was just explaining everything that was needing done for each model, didn't really say it was hard. The hard part is the Source ragdoll process. And if you've done this so many times and are so good at it, then why don't you do it? I'm getting the feeling I shouldn't be doing this anyway. I just keep getting insulted and undermined. I really don't need this, I was just trying to help. If it's something that isn't as much work as I think, then do it yourself. (Not mad at you.)
Edit: Wait I did say it was hard. Huh. Well hard work, not hard... work. There's a difference. Like. Hard work as in time consuming, every detail counts kind of work. Not like it's that difficult or tricky. Though it is tricky. ... Yes.

Bump.. I just noticed that I just made a post with your model (source YouTube) asking people to try and rig and port him over to Garry's Mod. Wish I would have known about this post first though. Working towards getting all of the main characters (plus some miscellaneous items like crates and stuff) from twinsanity along with there original textures, but once i've done N Tropy and Nitrus Brio i'm gonna upload all of the stuff i've done so far for people to rig!

I was in the same position as you but when i saw that there was no activity on this thread since January, nearly over a year ago, i decided to kinda revive this thread and have a go at ripping some models from twinsanity!
Also an answer to your question, i'm gonna continue ripping characters (aiming for all of the main ones) and misc items from the game and eventually posting a download of the max files for people to rig for Gmod!
