The broken crates in twinsanity are just particle effects of the standard crate textures.
By the way, I have all of the crates uv mapped and done. Including the collapsed checkpoint crate.

Um, what happened to the entire point of this thread? I have been trying to get N. Tropy in gmod, but GUIstudioMDL is giving me stupid errors and everytime I go try to fix it it keeps doing it and the internet isn't helping at all.

The point of the thread is still present. It's just on a tangent at the moment, which isn't exactly uncommon.
As for your compiling issues, consider using Crowbar instead. GUIStudioMDL is a rather outdated program and isn't worth fighting with most of the time.
It's been a while since I've seen this.
How goes the rigging?
I did get my GuiStudio fixed, but I might try crowbar because I can't get my textures to work. Right now I have decided to get some props from Twinsanity in while I try and rig characters for ragdolls.

Apologies man, still haven't sent the models your way yet. Been insanely busy with work and stuff recently. I'll send them now.
The animations are looking pretty damn sweet, just one criticism. They look a little sluggish, don't know if thats just the .gif though. Other than that they're looking Good! What terrain did you want me to model? Is the game a remake of Twinsanity or a completely new game?

Crash Tag Team Racing models are REALLY hard to rip! Trust me, I've tried it! Also, it seems on ps2 all the Japanese costumes are in the gamefiles and costume spin animations, but no spin for normal
But as for evil crash - I have a model of him but it was already ported to Gmod, and I have no idea how to turn MDLS into OBJS with textures

I tried to rip models from Crash Nitro Kart, is my first time ripping models and adjusting the UV map, and the result is confusing. There are model faces left but they are actually there, if you look through the other side.

And the other model I tried to rip is N. Tranced, I think he could be in the Twinsanity Models Pack because he was going to appear in the game, but their UVs are completly deformed, I don't know if it's for my ripping or if the model ripped it's damaged or something else.

You should flip any of those transparent traingles :) (in edit mesh -> face mode -> select a trasparent traingle on the model -> scroll down the options and click on "flip")

Only crash holding the CNK sign was ripped not him in his cart which would be awesome to have

Thank you!! It works fine, the crash model was only for example, I just start with the model ripping.
But still with the N. Trance UVs Problem (I don't know if someone had ripped the model before) it seems like this:

Also when ripping PS2 models, remember scaling. The models come out tiny so scale them up uniformly.
Another tip, use the skew modifier in Max to fix stuff like this, where the model has ripped weirdly because of the POV of the camera.

Was Koala Kong's model possible to rip? I would love to see his model get done since he hardly gets game appearances, he has a nice model in Twinsanity, and I plan on using it for a game mod along with other Crash models.

I did rip his model way back when first doing them, but along with Tiny and Pinstripe, they have over half there geometry missing. I did fix Pinstripe up but the results were pretty low quality so didn't bother doing the other two at the time. MIGHT do them when i got some time though.
Hey I'm back due to my brother Jake being on here longer than me, the reason that I returned is that he told me that this thread went from Twinsanity model rigging to getting requirements for a fan-made Crash game?

Ask gmodfan1997 for TwinSanity ragdolls, he have Crash, Cortex, Nina Cortex, Uka Uka, Aku Aku and N. Gin, in addition we have Dingodile and Evil Crash from ratchetmario.
The only one who miss is Coco.. So this thread is useless since 2011.
