Hey guys, after keonmckeon talk about a learnig experience, I though it was a good idea, so I take maybe the easiest model I found and I start the process, I know this model is not from Twinsanity, in fact is Ripper Roo from the first game, but it's having a good result, so if I finish this one and it works correctly, I probably try to rig some others (and I would leave a link to this one). And I'm planning on make the ears and the snout useful too.

Thats pretty awesome. ive been learning model extractions and formats. im using quickbms etc and bd bh extractors and all that. ive always been reading up on how to create model viewers etc. all very hard but im trying to learn :) nice job btw

Hey guys, I finish the RipperRoo model, (Warning:this is a model made in 3DS max 2012, and stills in that format, THIS IS NOT FOR GMOD OR SOURCE) I like so much the result and I made a little jumping animation (as you can see).
Your HD model seems well, but I see it a bit weird, I think it's because the model was in low poly, or it's just me, I don't know, it is cool anyway. (And yes, you should release it too)
And if this model(and rigging) are useful for something I probably make more models.

I think it is part of the rigging, The legs are not fully finished and the eyes need some work with the textures also it also could be the lighting due to the toenails almost being invisible in one part,

Yeah, I know what you mean, I thought it was just in the viewport of 3ds max, but then I see I had another model of nina and it seems well, but the deal is that it was the same model with the same vertex amount, so I'm going to try fixing, thanks for warn me.

THIS IS VERY WEIRD, I'm was wrong, I'll try to explain. I said it was the same model, right, but "the good one" was in .max and which I used was in .object, it was just a exported model of the first one, I discover this when I tried to export "the good one" to .obj and to .fbx, both become low poly when are exported, so I don't know what to do, I think I'm going to wait for Youmadbrah?'s models and try again, at least I have the eskeleton builded.
BTW remember to tell me what model you guys would like to see rigged next, and this next one will be right, not like Nina, I hope I will fix it someday...

That's right, btw the cortex model was alredy rigged by someone (I send the link to a video some messages ago), and who knows, maybe he releses, so I prefer to rig models that haven't been rigged by anyone, and next problem, the facial rig, I'm not too sure how it works, I don't even know how to make the character blink, I could try something but I'm not too sure if it'll work...
But don't worry, if he decides to don't relese his model (I hope he releases) I will rig it anyway.

Thats your smoothing groups. They're not being preserved on import/export of the model.

Here's an overall view of the characters that i've done from the boss cutscene at the begging of the game. Crunch was done too but decided to replace him and Tiny with better models from WoC. Think the overall result was pretty good considering most of them where not full models and massively deformed on parts due to the angle they where ripped at. Koala Kong MAY come later on when i have some free time to do him, although i'm not promising anything.
