Hi everyone, I'm rigging cortex with facial rig, test animations and texture fixed. It'll come soon.
And now I need to tell something to everyone who rips textures from twinsanity, when you rip a texture in twinsanity it is darker than it actually seems in-game, I don't know why this happens, but I know how to fix the textures, you just have to apply those adjusts:

Also kind of an update to the thread overall, i'm having a crack at rigging the models myself. CAT in 3Ds Max making it a whole lot easier.
As well, The reason for the hesitation to post the models up on here openly is because I don't want a certain someone to take them from here and claim the time and effort i've put into these as their own. They've done it before and they've even made profit off of them by selling them, which is just illegal in its self. I kind of want to rig these myself and release them onto the workshop to avoid this.
If you're annoyed about me not posting them openly, blame the guy who stole them from this thread a while back and made profit and not me. Cause if there is on thing I hate, its plagiarizing assholes like that. The thread isn't dead, i'll be posting updates and such as i go.

Ugh you are not the only one that hates plagiarism, I found my classmate using MY 3d model of ripper roo for his teacher but I proved to my teacher that is was mine using my C4D file

No, I am remaking most of the textures that really need a better resolution (Eyes are my main look towards because there just terrible) and modifying/Remaking the models, With crash there's not that much to do except maybe adding fur, better textures, adding a bump map and putting that little extra detail like for example: Making the gums more... extruded and making the shoe laces actually in the model, But if I do look back at it and think "Hey I can fix this model and add more polygons or change it to look way better" then I will, Some models I know for sure I am going to re-do/Fix completely are

If your adding fur, don't model the fur. Use alpha cards to do it.

If you want to make a game ready model, don't ever use any form of fur modifier. Results in VERY high poly count and mainly used for high poly renders.
Here's what an alpha card looks like. It's just literally a texture that uses transparency giving the effect of fur or hair.

Thats what Cinema 4d does, It wont render them as a full on object but more of a texture, and I do know what a alpha card is, I am just debating on using it, I probably will though

Yeah, I will also add a normal map and I am guessing that by white reflector you mean specularity then yes I will, Also the reflection in the eye currently wont be in the texture it will be replaced with the specularity map and reflections.
Just out of curiosity. What happened with the Aku Aku model? I noticed something that nobody I've seen bring up. When looking at the current state of the Aku Aku model that's been ripped, he seems to have been 'mirrored' (for lack of better terms).
When looking at the Aku Aku model face to face, his feathers should have [B]two holes on the left[/B], and [B]one on the right[/B]. The model that's been ripped has two holes on the right, one on the left; thus giving him the 'mirrored' look.
Another example is his eyebrows/ eyes. When looking at the model ingame, his [B]right eyebrow[/B] should angles down. On the ripped model the eyebrow that does that [I]is on his left side[/I].
Again, it's hard to explain, but I'm doing the best I can so hopefully you guys (and gals) understand what I'm saying. It's not that big of a deal, but I thought I'd mention it just because it bothers me personally. :smile:
